COLUMBIA, S.C. – The No. 10/9 South Carolina softball team is set for its sixth straight series against a nationally ranked opponent when the Gamecocks host No. 19 Ole Miss April 4-6. It’s alumnae weekend at Carolina Softball Stadium, with a rally towel giveaway Friday, 50 years of Women’s Sports at South Carolina celebration Saturday, and throwback day and signature Sunday.

- The 2025 season is the 52nd season for the Carolina Softball team.
- South Carolina moved up in three of the four polls this week and are in the top-10 of all four for the first time this season.
- The Gamecocks moved up to No. 6 in the D1Softball poll, No. 7 by Softball America, and No. 9 by ESPN/USA Softball. They remained No. 10 in the NFCA/USA Today poll.
- This week in the NCAA RPI the Gamecocks are No. 2.
- For the first time in program history every game will be televised on the ESPN family of networks and digital platforms.
- South Carolina and Georgia are the only two Division I programs to have every game broadcast this season.
- With the win over Youngstown State, the Gamecocks tied the program record from 1976 for most consecutive wins to start a season.
- With the series win over #3 LSU, the Gamecocks now have four series wins over top-15 opponents.
- Carolina shutout Clemson for the first time in the series history and ending their program record streak of 54 consecutive games scoring a run.
- Brooke Blankenship ranks 2nd in the nation in sacrifice flies.
- Her six sac flies are tied for 4th in a single season in program history.
- Quincee Lilio leads the team with 14 multi-hit games on the season.
- Lilio is 21st in the nation in walks per game and 26th in on-base percentage.
- Arianna Rodi has reached base in 27 straight games.
- She collected her 100th career RBI on her three-run home run against Clemson.
- Rodi ranks 6th nationally in walks per game.
- Rodi hit a home run in five straight games (Feb. 25 – Mar. 5), which it tied for the 14th longest streak in NCAA Division I history.
- Her 11 home runs on the season already rank tied for 6th in program history.
- Karley Shelton ranks 10th in doubles and 18th in doubles per game.
- Jori Heard ranks 19th nationally in fewest hit batters.
- Nealy Lamb ranks 23rd in the nation in strikeouts per game.
- South Carolina has outscored their opponents 238-104 on the season, including 45-11 in the fourth inning and 28-5 in the seventh inning.
- As a team they rank third the nation in doubles per game.
- They also rank 6th in doubles, 5th in and sacrifice flies, 8th in walks, 5th in fielding percentage, 6th in double plays per game, and 7th in double plays.

- Since 2016, South Carolina has consistently ranked among the nation’s leaders in attendance. Since that time, excluding the 2021 COVID season that limited attendance, they have never finished lower than 15th in average or cumulative attendance.
