2026 SEC Softball Schedule Announced

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southeastern Conference announced the conference schedule for the 2026 softball season Wednesday afternoon (Sept. 10).

Conference play will begin on March 6 and run through May 2. The regular-season conference schedule includes eight three-game series for each team for a total of 24 games. The schedule is subject to change, including the move of some conference series to conclude on Mondays.

The Gamecocks open SEC play under second-year head coach Ashley Chastain Woodard when they host defending National Champion Texas March 6-8.

After a bye weekend, Carolina hosts LSU March 20-22. They go on the road for the first time with back-to-back road trips to Mississippi State (March 27-29) and Tennessee (April 3-5).

South Carolina hosts Florida (April 10-12) before heading to Missouri April 17-19.

The final home series will see the Gamecocks take on Texas A&M April 24-26 before wrapping up the season at Alabama April 30-May 2.

The 2026 SEC Tournament is scheduled for May 5-9 at John Cropp Stadium in Lexington, Ky.

The non-conference portion of the schedule as well as game times and television designations will be announced at a later date.
