Indoor: Only threw the shot put at the South Carolina Invitational … Tossed the shot put 19.68m/64-5.
Outdoor: Qualified for the NCAA Championships in the shot put … Did not compete at the NCAA Championships … Took seventh at the East Regional in the shot put to qualify for Nationals with a toss of 19.06m/62-6.50 … Was the SEC runner-up in the shot put, throwing the shot a season-best mark of 19.85m/65-1.50 for a second-place finish … Won the shot put at the Gamecock Invitational with a toss of 19.07m/64-6.75 … Was also the runner-up in the shot put at the Florida Relays, USC Open and the UNF Invitational.
2020
Indoors: Competed in six meets for the Gamecocks, finishing in the top-five in each of his appearances in the Shot Put… Opened the season with a second-place finish at the Orange and Purple Elite… Reached the 19-meter mark at the home opener, the Carolina Challenge, and picked up the win… Won the South Carolina Invite by tying his lifetime PR of 19.43m (63-9)… Broke his PR, set an Ireland National Indoor record and moved to the third-best mark in school history with his toss of 19.49m (63-11 1/2) at the Tiger Paw Invite, finishing in fifth… Returned home at the USC Indoor Open to win with a mark of 19.24m (63-1 1/2)… Took fifth at the 2020 SEC Indoor Championships in the Shot Put with a mark of 19.42m (63-8 3/4).

2019
Indoors: Competed in six meets, finishing in the top-four in each of his five regular-season appearances… opened the year finishing second at the Orange & Purple Elite, and followed that with a third-place effort at the Gamecock Inaugural… achieved a new PR, 19.38m (63-7) to win the Dr. Sander Challenge in his home state of New York… that mark ranks fourth in Carolina history… took third at the Carolina Challenge and fourth at the Tiger Paw Invitational… ended with a sixth-place finish, throwing 18.64m (61-2) to score for the Gamecocks at the SEC Championships… finished 17th on the NCAA shot put leaderboard, just missing a berth to the NCAA Championships.
Outdoors: Did not let the disappointment of missing the NCAA Indoor meet affect his outdoor season, as he continued to post outstanding shot put performances over the course of eight appearances, culminating with a bid to the NCAA Outdoor Championships… finished third at the Spec Towns Invitational and second at both the Gamecock Invitational and USC Outdoor Open… came in fourth in the championship flight at Penn Relays… earned his first-career podium spot at the conference level, throwing 18.87m (61-11) to place third at the SEC Championships… tossed a new personal record, 19.11m (62-8 1/2), to clinch a nationals berth on his first throw of the NCAA East Regional… that mark is fourth-best in Carolina history… finished 18th at his first NCAA Championships appearance, with a throw of 18.57m (60-11 3/4)… opened his summer season at a meet in Mobile, Ala., hitting a new PR of 19.26m (63-2 1/4)… represented Ireland at the Summer Universiade in Napoli, Italy, where he finished 10th with a mark of 18.94m (62-1 ¾).
2018
Indoors: Competed five times, taking part in both the shot put and the weight throw… won the shot put at the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational and finished second in the event at the Navy Winter Invitational… just missed a scoring spot at the SEC Championships, finishing ninth with an effort of 18.17m (59-7 1/2)… had his best weight throw effort at the Darius Dixon, when he set a PR and finished fifth with a mark of 16.43m (53-11).
Outdoors: Qualified for the NCAA East Regional in the shot put for the second-straight season… took part in eight meets, excelling at both the shot put at the discus… earned second-place shot put finishes at the Black & Gold Challenge, the Weems Baskin Invitational and the USC Open… set a PR of 18.73m (61-5 1/2) at the Weems, moving up to sixth place in Carolina history… finished 11th in the shot put at the SEC Championships and 25th at the NCAA East Regional… threw a discus PR of 50.73m (166-5) at the Gamecock Invitational and won the event at the USC Open… finished 20th in the discus at the SEC Championships… took part in the Irish Championships in July, beginning his quest to represent Ireland at the 2020 Olympics… finished second in the shot put and third in the discus at his first Irish national meet.
2017
Indoors: Made an instant impact in his first collegiate season… earned three podium finishes in the shot put, including second-place results at the Clemson Invitational and Tiger Tuneup… named SEC Freshman of the Week after his performance at the Tiger Tuneup… finished fifth at the SEC Championships in the shot put, tops among freshmen… his mark of 18.45m at SECs ended the season as the top mark of the indoor season by a collegiate freshman… also finished third in the weight throw at the Clemson Invitational.
Outdoors: Earned three podium finishes in the shot put, including a victory at the USC Open… threw a season-best 17.72m at the Florida Relays… finished 12th in the shot put at the SEC Championships… was an NCAA East Regional qualifier… also earned a third-place result in the discus at the USC Open.
2016
Redshirted, but competed as an attached athlete.
HIGH SCHOOL
Came in third in the discus and weight throw at the state championship meets as a senior… state champion in the shot put for the indoor and outdoor seasons as a senior… came in second at New Balance Indoor Nationals… threw a personal best 66-7 in the shot put to finish third at New Balance Outdoor Nationals… finished third at nationals as a junior… also a standout football player, playing on the defensive line.
