2019
Indoor: Made appearances in two meets for the Gamecocks… Made Carolina Track & Field debut at the Carolina Challenge, competing in the 400m… Also participated at the USC Indoor Open in the 400m.
Outdoor: In all four meets she ran during the outdoor campaign, all were in the 400mH… Made outdoor debut at the Black and Gold Challenge, finishing in a time of 1:04.84… Improved to 1:02.22 by the end of the season, a time she posted at the USC Outdoor Open to finish in seventh.
Previous College Experience
Spent four seasons as a member of the South Carolina women’s soccer team, appearing in 60 matches… Finished with six goals and six assists in her career… Was part of four NCAA Tournament teams, including Carolina’s run to the 2017 College Cup… Was a three-time SEC Academic Honor Roll selection and a 2018 SEC All-Tournament Team member.
High School
Earned four track & field letters at Bill Crothers Secondary School… Primarily specialized in the short sprints… Won York Region titles as a junior in the 60m and as a senior in the 4x100m relay… Finished second in the region in the 200m and third in the 100m as a senior… Also lettered in volleyball, basketball and soccer.
Personal
Daughter of Derek and Sophia Wark… Member of South Carolina’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee… Majoring in exercise science.
