Steve Eigenbrot

Position: Senior Associate AD/Development & Gamecock Club

Steve Eigenbrot works for the University of South Carolina where he currently serves as the Senior Associate Athletics Director for Development and Gamecock Club. Having joined the Gamecock Athletics Department as a major gift officer in 2010, he continues to contribute as a lead fundraiser for the department’s $200 million Garnet Way Campaign. Eigenbrot oversees the department’s major gifts team, as well as its premium seating and stewardship functions.

Prior to joining the Gamecocks, Steve worked at the University of Nevada — Las Vegas for three and a half years. While there, he was charged with directing the athletic department’s annual fund and other fundraising initiatives. Prior to his time at UNLV, Eigenbrot worked for two years at Ohio University, helping to develop and launch an athletics annual giving program known as the Ohio Bobcat Club.

Steve received his undergraduate degree in Finance and International Business at the University of Maryland, and earned his Masters of Business Administration and Masters of Sport Administration from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. He completed his PhD in Higher Education Leadership at the University of Nevada — Las Vegas. Eigenbrot is a proud adjunct faculty member in the University of South Carolina’s Department of Sports and Entertainment Management, and a regular volunteer at the Oliver Gospel Mission, a local men’s shelter.
