SENIOR (2021)

• Made 15 starts on the mound for the Gamecocks, going 5-6 with a 4.58 ERA and 98 strikeouts in 72.2 innings pitched
• Was sixth in the SEC in opponent’s batting average (.203) and 13th in strikeouts
• Struck out 11 batters in five innings of work, allowing just one hit in a win over Mercer (March 6)
• Also had 11 strikeouts at Georgia (April 3) in 6.2 innings, allowing just one hit in the win
• In a win over Florida (March 27), struck out nine in seven innings, allowing an unearned run and five hits
• Picked up the win at Kentucky (May 14), striking out six and allowing five hits and three runs in five innings
• Had eight punchouts in five innings in a win over Missouri (April 10)
• Struck out eight and allowed three hits in a no-decision against Clemson (Feb. 28)

JUNIOR (2020)

• Went 2-0 with a 1.71 ERA in four starts for the Gamecocks in 2020
• Struck out 32 batters in 21 innings pitched, which was tied for eighth in the SEC
• Was second in the conference with a .104 opponent’s batting average
• Pitched the SEC’s only complete game, a five-inning, nine-strikeout performance in a win over Holy Cross (Feb. 16)
• Allowed just seven hits in the 21 innings pitched
• Earned the win over Cornell (March 8), striking out 10 and allowing two hits in five innings
• Had nine strikeouts in six innings of work in a start vs. Northwestern (Feb. 23)
• Allowed just one hit in five innings in a start against Clemson (March 1)

PRIOR TO CAROLINA

• Was selected in the 31st round of the 2019 MLB First-Year Player Draft by Tampa Bay
• Attended Cowley County Community College in Arkansas City, Kan., for two years
• Named the Jayhawk East Conference and Region 6 Pitcher of the Year in 2019
• Had a 2.63 ERA and 74 strikeouts in 61.1 innings pitched his sophomore season at Cowley County
• In 2018, went 8-1 with a 3.33 ERA, striking out 70 batters in 54 innings pitched
• Pitched in the Kansas JuCo All-Star game in 2018
• Attended Collinsville High School in Collinsville, Okla., where he was a Perfect Game Central Region honorable mention in 2017
• Played summer baseball for the Eau Claire Express in the Northwoods League in 2019
• Was named a Northwoods League All-Star, going 2-0 with a 1.74 ERA and 28 strikeouts in 20.2 innings pitched
