• Started 17 games for the Gamecocks in 2023

FRESHMAN (2021)

• Made 14 appearances on the mound with five starts, going 3-0 with a 1.62 ERA and 39 strikeouts in 33.1 innings pitched for the Gamecocks
• Also made a start at third base against Missouri (April 9) and had four plate appearances with a walk and a hit by pitch
• Struck out seven in five innings to earn the win over Charleston Southern (April 13)
• Went a season-long 7.2 innings, striking out six and allowing five hits and no runs in a win over The Citadel (April 27)
• Did not pitch after May 5 due to injury
• Had six strikeouts in four innings in a win over Gardner-Webb (March 30)
• Had four punchouts in 2.1 innings in a 1-0 win over Mercer (March 7)
• Made his Carolina debut against Dayton (Feb. 19), striking out a batter in an inning of work
• In 1.2 innings of relief, struck out four in a win over Winthrop (Feb. 23)
• Had three strikeouts in an inning of work at Texas (March 12)

HIGH SCHOOL

• Attended St. Viator High School in Arlington Hts., Ill., where he had a career .315 batting average with 18 doubles, nine home runs, 63 RBI, a .423 on-base percentage and a .491 slugging percentage
• On the mound, was 12-5 with a save and 105 strikeouts in 110.1 innings in his three-year career at St. Viator
• Had senior season cut due to the coronavirus pandemic
• Hit .342 and was 2-1 on the mound for St. Viator as a freshman, helping the Lions to a 3A state championship

• Perfect Game Underclass All-America high honorable mention (2018, ’19)
• Was ranked the No. 2 shortstop and No. 3 overall player in the state of Illinois in the class of 2020 by Perfect Game
