- Joined the team as a walk-on over the summer
PRE-SOUTH CAROLINA
- Earned all-conference honors playing for the Hawken Hawks
- Helped the team to its first winning season (14-8) and playoff win in five years as a senior in 2022-23
- Also was an all-conference football player ; had three receiving TDs on offense and 23 tackles on the other side of the ball with 10 passes defensed and four fumble recoveries his senior year
- Played lacrosse as well
