Named first-team All-SEC and GCAA PING All-Southeast Region … was the only Gamecock to compete in every event of the season … was second on the team and 16th in the SEC with a 72.47 average … was the team’s top finisher in four events … closed the NCAA East Regional with a 71 … tied for second at the SEC Championship, the best league finish by a Gamecock since Kyle Thompson finished in the same spot in 1999 … was named national Golfer of the Week by both Golfweek and Golf World and SEC Golfer of the Week on Mar. 17 after winning the Schenkel E-Z-Go Invitational, his first collegiate victory … picked up a win over Alabama’s Mark Harrell in the No. 1 position of the second-round match at Callaway Golf Collegiate Match Play … finished a team-best 18th at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate after carding a career-best 65 in the second round … took third at the Carpet Capital Collegiate with consistent play, scoring 71, 70 and 71 … was a member of the SEC Spring Sports Academic Honor Roll.

2006-07
Named PING All-Southeast Region and honorable mention All-America after leading the Gamecocks with four top-10 finishes … twice earned SEC Golfer of the Week honors … finished 10th in the NCAA West Regional with a three-round 204, the fourth-lowest tournament score in school history … set the course record with a 66 (-6) in the first round of the Augusta State Invitational at Champions Retreat Golf Club en route to a second-place finish … just missed a top-10 finish at Hootie at Bulls Bay, claiming 11th place … collected his first top-five finish in just his second collegiate tournament, finishing third at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate … member of the SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll.

Finished first in the South Carolina Heritage Classic Foundation Player Rankings to win the Jay Haas Player of the Year Award in 2005 … played for coach Mark Giles at Dutch Fork High School, which finished fourth at the 2004 State Championship … earned all-state and all-region each year … competed in the British Amateur during the summer of 2006 …qualified for the 2005 U.S. Amateur and made it to match play …also qualified for the 2005 U.S. Junior and advanced to the round of 32 … won the 2005 CPGA Westfield, the 2005 Player’s Championship, the 2005 Florence Junior and the 2004 Charles Tilghman … won the 2003 and 2005 Joe Wyatt and the 2005 Capital City Classic … also placed second at the 2005 Carolinas Junior … member of the All-Carolinas Junior Team.
