2018-19 (SENIOR)

  • Started 11 of the team’s 13 events, posting a 72.03 scoring average (15th best all-time for single season) with six top-20 finishes (every regular season event in the spring), four top-10s and a pair of top-fives – all career-best marks
  • Shot par or better 19 times in 31 rounds played
  • His 73.53 career scoring average finished No. 18 all-time at Carolina
  • T-54th at the NCAA Pullman Regional (May 13-15); shot 67 (-3) in the opening round and helped the Gamecocks back to the NCAA Championship for the first time since 2016 with a top-five finish; made the winning birdie putt in the five-man, one-hole playoff with Colorado State for the final spot at nationals in Fayetteville, Ark. 
  • T-26th at in the stroke play portion of the SEC Championship (April 24-28); fell 2&1 to Jacob Solomon in the SEC Match Play Quarterfinals vs. No. 16 Auburn
  • Took ninth at the Southern Intercollegiate (April 15), helping the team to its third win of the spring
  • T-16th at the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational with 54-hole total of 213 (-3)
  • T-8th at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate, helping the team to a comeback victory in the final round; shot 69 (-3) in round three to finish at 4-under (212) for the tournament
  • Paced the Gamecocks with a T-5th finish in a loaded field at the Valspar Collegiate Invitational (March 17-19), shot 206 (-7) to match his career-best, 54-hole score with two rounds in the 60s to help the team take third at Floridian National Golf Club
  • Earned runner-up medalist honors at the Palmetto Intercollegiate (March 11-12, carding career-best score of 206 (-4); shot 69-65-72 en route to helping team to its first win of the spring in which it set the program 54-hole scoring record at 813 (-27)
  • T-12th to open the spring at the All-American Intercollegiate (Feb. 17-19)
  • Went 2-0 in his season debut at the Jack Nicklaus Invitational (Oct. 8-9) with a 3&1 over Brandon Wu of Stanford and a 4&2 victory over Connor Howe of Georgia Tech in the semifinals
  • Advanced to match play at the 118th U.S. Amateur at Pebble Beach (Aug. 13-19), becoming the first Gamecock since Matt NeSmith (2015) to advance out of stroke play; fell in the round of 64, 1-up in 19 holes to Andrew Alligood
  • Named a Srixon/Clevleand Golf Scholar All-American for the first time and was selected to the SEC Academic Honor Roll

2017-18 (JUNIOR)

  • Did not compete in any events for Carolina due to a hip injury which required surgery 
  • Earned runner-up medalist honors at the 89th edition of the Southeastern Amateur (June 13-16) in Columbus, Ga.
  • Finished the tournament at 7-under with a four-round total of 273
  • Shot in the 60s the final three days with back-to-back 67s (-3) in the third and final rounds

2016-17 (SOPHOMORE)

  • Played in the lineup in 11 of the team’s 12 events, posting a 74.28 18-hole scoring average
  • Made postseason debut at the SEC Championship (April 21-24) and the NCAA West Lafayette Regional (May 15-17)
  • T-40th at NCAA Regionals and T-64th at SECs
  • Won his quarterfinal match vs. Florida’s Jorge Garcia in the first ever SEC Match Play, defeated Garcia 3&2
  • Posted his first career top-10 finishes in back-to-back tournaments at the Palmetto Intercollegiate (March 6-7) and the General Hackler Championship (March 11-12)
  • Finished T-9th at the Palmetto (211, +1) and a career-best T-7th at the General Hackler (143, -1)
  • His 211 in Aiken marked a new career 54-hole low, also shot career 18-hole low 69 twice in the tournament
  • T-17th at the Camden Collegiate Invitational (Oct. 22-23) helping the team to a runner-up finish
  • T-30th at the Hootie At Bulls Bay Intercollegiate en route to helping the team to its first tournament win of the season
  • Score counted 21 times as he ended the season with seven rounds of par or better and three rounds in the 60s
  • Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll after leading the team with a 4.0 GPA

2015-16 (FRESHMAN)

  • Participated in the 116th U.S. Open at Oakmont, shooting 78-84=162
  • Qualified for the 116th U.S. Open at Oakmont by shooting 68 in Local Qualifying at Peachtree City GC in Peachtree City, Ga., and firing a score of 71-65=136 at Ansley GC in Roswell, Ga.
  • Played as an individual in the Gamecocks’ first tournament, the Carpet Capital Collegiate
  • A member of the five-man lineup for the Shoal Creek Invitational and the Camden Collegiate Invitational
  • Top finish came at Camden with a T-22nd after shooting an 8-over 218
  • Low round of the fall was a 72 to open the Camden Collegiate
  • Competed in one spring tournament, finishing 30th at the Savannah Quarters Individual Intercollegiate


  • Two-time All-State selection
  • Played at Milton High School before finishing career at Cambridge High School
  • Led Milton to the 2012 Class AAAAA GHSA state title
  • Earned medalist honors at three high school tournaments
  • 2013 Joe Cheves Junior Invitational Champion
