ATHLETICS

  • Played well in non-conference singles, going 4-3 in the No. 5 spot and 4-2 in the No. 6 position
  • Was solid in the back half of the lineup with a 6-4 singles mark in dual matches and 19-9 record overall
  • Played mostly at No. 2 doubles where he went 11-9
  • Won at No. 2 doubles at Clemson (Feb. 27), helping the Gamecocks capture the doubles point en route to a 4-0 sweep
  • Clinched doubles points against Auburn (Apr. 8), UNC Asheville (Feb. 27), Bryant (Feb. 7) and Winthrop (Jan. 16)

  • Saw action in two SEC matches doubles, teaming with Thiago Pinheiro in the Gamecocks’ No. 3 position, help team win the doubles point in both matches — at Arkansas (Mar. 30) and against Auburn (Mar. 23)
  • Made his dual-match debut against The Citadel (Jan. 19), powering through a tiebreak in the first set en route to a straight-set victory
  • Won two rounds of prequalifying at ITA All-Americans
