ATHLETICS

• Played well in non-conference singles, going 4-3 in the No. 5 spot and 4-2 in the No. 6 position
• Was solid in the back half of the lineup with a 6-4 singles mark in dual matches and 19-9 record overall
• Played mostly at No. 2 doubles where he went 11-9
• Won at No. 2 doubles at Clemson (Feb. 27), helping the Gamecocks capture the doubles point en route to a 4-0 sweep
• Clinched doubles points against Auburn (Apr. 8), UNC Asheville (Feb. 27), Bryant (Feb. 7) and Winthrop (Jan. 16)
• Topped opponents from Tennessee (Sept. 26), Clemson (Oct. 3), Penn State (Nov. 8) and Harvard (Nov. 11-13) throughout the fall
• Performed well in critical situations, going 5-3 in tiebreaks
• Won four of five matches at the South Carolina Men’s Collegiate Championships, taking third place in the singles draw

• Went 3-1 in three-set matches
• Rallied back from a set down to defeat his Clemson opponent in three sets to help Gamecocks to largest margin of victory over the Tigers since 2009
• Closed out the Bulldog Scramble with back-to-back wins

• Was undefeated in singles in four dual-match appearances
• Yielded just one game in each of his last two singles matches of the season — vs. Murray State (Apr. 11) and The Citadel (Mar. 23) — playing both in the No. 6 spot in the lineup
• Saw action in two SEC matches doubles, teaming with Thiago Pinheiro in the Gamecocks’ No. 3 position, help team win the doubles point in both matches — at Arkansas (Mar. 30) and against Auburn (Mar. 23)
• Made his dual-match debut against The Citadel (Jan. 19), powering through a tiebreak in the first set en route to a straight-set victory
• Won two rounds of prequalifying at ITA All-Americans
