2018 (Senior): Appeared in 42 games for the Gamecocks to close out her four-year career in the garnet and black… Hit .333 with a .455 on-base percentage… Scored two runs in a win over Hofstra in Miami (2/10)… Recorded her first hit of the year in a win over Bradley in Orlando (2/23)… Followed it up the next day with her second hit of the year and an RBI in a win over Miami (2/24)… Threw out her first runner of the year attempting to steal second in a win at Ole Miss (3/16)… Saw action as a pinch runner the final four games of the season… Was named a finalist for the Brad Davis Community Service Award… Named to the SEC Community Service Team. 

2017 (JUNIOR): Started 29 games and appeared in 51 … Caught more than anyone else and posted 16 assists from behind the dish … Hit .220 with a .347 on-base percentage … Started the first four games of the season at catcher during the Carolina Classic, reaching base twice and scoring both times in the season opener vs. Ohio (2/10) … Tallied a hit and scored in the win over Indiana (2/17) … Showed her versatility by filling in with three starts at third during the Gamecock Invitational … In the two wins over North Dakota State (2/24-25), she drove in the game-winning run in the first game and scored the only run in game two … Also played a flawless game at third in game one, making four assists … Had her career-best game on Sunday in the Gamecock Invite against College of Charleston (2/26), reaching base four times while going 2-for-2 with two runs, two stolen bases and two RBI … Singled, walked and scored in the victory at No. 9/9 Alabama (3/26) … Tallied two doubles on the year, including an RBI two-bagger in the Furman win (3/28) … Also scored twice against the Paladins, the game that concluded her three-game hitting streak … Came in to catch at Georgia on Friday night (4/28) and threw out Cortni Emanuel, one of the fastest players in the Southeastern Conference … With her behind the dish the rest of the weekend, Georgia did not attempt a steal … Scored twice in a 1-for-2 day in the Tucson Regional-opening win vs. St. Francis (5/19) … Had hits in three of the four games in Tucson … Earned placement on the SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll as well as garnering National Fastpitch Coaches Association Scholar-Athlete accolades.

2016 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in 45 games, scoring 13 runs … Went 2-for-5 at the plate, driving in two runs … Stole a base in her only try at USF (2/12) … Had a two-RBI single, her first career hit, against Southern Utah (2/26) and added another hit at home vs. UConn (3/5) … Caught in five games, tallying two assists … A member of the Southeastern Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll as well as an National Fastpitch Coaches Asssociation Scholar-Athlete.

2015 (FRESHMAN): Played in 42 games, almost exclusively as a pinch runner … Scored 13 runs and was successful in her only stolen base attempt (vs. UNC Wilmington, 3/31) … Walked in her only plate appearance vs. Delaware State (2/7) … Earned placement on the SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll … Also garnered honors as a NFCA Scholar-Athlete.

HIGH SCHOOL: Garnered four letters at Parkland HS … A three-year captain for the Trojans who earned honorable mention all-state honors as a senior from the Pennsylvania High School Softball Coaches Association … A three-time Lehigh Valley Conference all-star and all-region selection … Played travel ball with the Beverly Bandits, who finished third in the PGF Nationals last year … Off the field, earned the Latin award while making the Principal’s List … Selected for the Patty Heffner Memorial Scholarship, the Umpires Association scholarship and the Zoned, Inc. Baseball/Softball Scholar-Athlete Scholarship.

PERSONAL: Jordyn Alexis Augustus is the daughter of Joe and Joy … Has five siblings, Joey, Jackie, Jake, Jason and Justin … Says Mike Trout is her favorite athlete … Majoring in political science and psychology with the desire to be a district attorney.
