2008
An ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District III second-team selection…Ended her career with her name all over the career record book, standing third in saves (7), sixth in strikeouts (422) and ninth in shutouts (14) and complete games (49)…Tied for the team lead in wins (8) while topping the team in most major pitching categories…Compiled a 1.98 ERA with a team-best four saves, striking out 145 batters in 151.2 innings pitched over 29 appearances, 23 of those starts…Tossed 18 complete games and five shutouts…Her four saves tied for fourth best in a single season…Won five straight starts after lowing her first four decisions…Struck out seven in both of her starting assignments in the USF Louisville Slugger Tournament…Picked up her first win of the season against Georgia Tech (2/22), scattering six hits and a walk in the complete-game shutout…Followed that with a two-hitter against Wright State (2/24)…Tossed a second-consecutive shutout in the first win over Gardner-Webb in the Carolina Classic (3/1)…Struck out 10 in back-to-back complete games against Arkansas (3/8-9), with the second game standing as a three-hit shutout…Pitched great against No. 8 Tennessee and at No. 3 Florida, allowing a single earned run in each game, but got the loss in both games…Got back in the win column with wins in games one and three at Kentucky (3/29-30) while she got the save in game two…Tossed a one-hitter in the first game of the doubleheader against Auburn (4/6) before getting a two-inning save in game two…Earned SEC Pitcher of the Week for that performance, striking out 13 in the nine innings…Ended with seven consecutive losses, including three games where she allowed only one earned run.

Stepped into the No. 1 pitcher’s spot and delivered 20 wins to lead the team…Made 45 appearances, starting 38 games…Completed 31 of her starts (tied for seventh on the single-season charts) and tallied nine shutouts…Put her name among Carolina’s great pitchers with her 265 innings pitched (seventh-best single-season mark) and 277 strikeouts (sixth-best single-season)…Stood in the top 100 of the nation in four pitching categories: saves (3, 52nd), wins (20, 63rd), ERA (1.77, 66th) and strikeouts per seven innings (7.3, 76th)…In the Southeastern Conference statistical rankings, Hendon ranked third in innings pitched, fourth in strikeouts, saves, appearances and games started, seventh in opponents batting average (.195) and 10th in ERA…Tossed the Gamecocks’ first perfect game in a decade and first no-hitter in three seasons when she shut down Pittsburgh on March 4…Added two one-hitters as well, both coming in SEC play…First allowed only one hit against No. 2 Alabama (3/17), but the one given up was a long-ball to give the Crimson Tide a 1-0 victory…Held Georgia (4/14) to one hit to lead Carolina to a 5-0 victory over the Bulldogs…Also picked up the victory in the second game of the doubleheader with a perfect inning of relief…Capped the weekend with another complete game against Georgia, allowing two runs on two hits and three walks…Took home the SEC Pitcher of the Week award after the Georgia weekend, becoming the first Gamecock hurler to capture the certificate in four seasons…Compiled 10 or more K’s in nine games, the most for a Carolina pitcher since Megan Matthews did it in 1999…Set her high with 15 in the first game against College of Charleston (2/22)…Tossed three other shutouts in SEC play, against Arkansas (3/10), Kentucky (4/22) and Mississippi (5/6)…Also threw back-to-back complete games on championship day (5/20) at the Columbia Regional to lead Carolina over No. 20 Oregon to advance into the program’s first Super Regional…Also tallied her third save of the season in the elimination game against North Carolina State (5/19), which got the Gamecocks to the championship round…Also contributed at the plate, hitting .204 on the season…Started her Carolina career with a five-game hitting streak at the Florida Atlantic Kick-Off Classic, including smacking doubles in each of her first two games…Drove in a run with her double in the season opener against Pittsburgh (2/9)…Had two RBI and a run scored in a 2-for-3 day against Jacksonville (2/17)…Also went 2-for-3 with her first home run against Campbell (2/28)…After tossing the perfect game against the Panthers, she drove in two runs during a 3-for-3 day in the nightcap…Had nine putouts in two games: against Western Carolina (2/14) and against Virginia Tech (3/14).

At Chattanooga State (2005-06)
Compiled a 62-9 record and a 0.75 ERA in two years…Recorded back-to-back 31-win seasons…Helped lead Chattanooga State to a 55-14 record in 2006 and a 49-11 record in 2005…The 2006 Tigers finished fourth in the nation…Hendon helped the Tigers win Region VII in both 2005 and 2006, part of their run of 14 consecutive region titles…Recorded 298 strikeouts in 2006 en route to NJCAA Division I All-America accolades…Posted 553 total strikeouts in two years…Tossed four perfect games for the Tigers’ head coach Beth Keylon-Randolph.
