Chelsea Hawkins Bio
Chelsea Hawkins moved from the playing field into the team[apos]s coaching structure in 2014 as a graduate assistant manager. She will help Smith and the staff in all aspects.
A member of Smith[apos]s first four teams, Hawkins started for three years, posting 21 homers in that time, the third most in school history. The Piedmont, S.C., native also stands in the career top 15 in slugging percentage, RBI, RBI per game and walks. Hawkins earned second-team NFCA All-South Region honors after her sophomore season.
The former three-time all-state player at Wren High School earned spots on four SEC Academic Honor Rolls.
Graduating with her B.S. in sport and entertainment in August 2014, Hawkins is pursuing a masters degree in education technology.
