2021 (SENIOR):
Closed her four-year career with eight starts in 26 games played… Hit .094 in 32 at-bats with four runs and three RBI… Notably blasted a solo home run in a pinch-hit situation on 2/28 against No. 16 Duke… Posted 16 putouts and a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.

2020 (JUNIOR): 
Did not play due to injury.

2019 (SOPHOMORE): 
Hit .346 in 35 games of action, earned 27 starts… Had 28 hits (14 of which went for extra-base hits)… Produced 34 RBI and slugged .765 to go along with her .407 on-base percentage… Had a hit in each of her first three appearances starting with a game against Winthrop on Feb. 24… Had a season-best four RBI in the win over Ball State on Mar. 1 thanks to a pinch hit grand slam… Hit a three-run pinch hit home run against South Florida later that day, as well… Went 2-for-4, including the walk-off winner via a single, in the victory over Duke on Mar. 20… Went 2-for-2 with an RBI in the series clinching win at Auburn on Apr. 14… Hit 2-for-5 with two runs and two home runs and three RBI (including a walk-off home run in extra innings) to seal the series opening victory over Georgia on Apr. 26… Went 3-for-3 with a run and three RBI in the regional win over Bethune-Cookman on May 18… Produced a .310 batting average in conference play with six home runs and 15 RBI as she slugged .786… Hit .385 with four home runs and 15 RBI in true road games… Had five multi-hit games and 11 multi-RBI contests…  Named to the third-team All-Region Squad for the first time in her career. 

2018 (FRESHMAN): 
Opened her Gamecock career with 58 appearances and 36 starts… Hit .235 with 10 home runs and 38 RBI to go along with her .529 slugging percentage… Finished with nine multi-RBI games… Had her first career hit, a home run, in the win over Hofstra on opening day (2/9)… Followed it up the next day with two more RBI in the win over Hofstra (2/10)… Had a hit in the FIU game to start her career with a hit in her first three games played (2/10)… Homered in the win over Georgetown (2/18)… Hit a monstrous bomb in the win over Miami (2/24, finished the game with four RBI on one hit… Blasted a three-run homer in the win over Liberty (3/2)… Went 3-for-3 with a run and four RBI, as well as a homer, in the win over Illinois State (3/10)… Three RBI double in the series finale win over No. 2 Tennessee (3/25)… Three RBI in the victory over Missouri to open the series (4/20)… 2-fo-3 night with a homer in the win at USC Upstate (4/25)… Homered in the first two games of the Kentucky series (5/4-5/6)… Finished with a hit in the final game of the season in the Tempe Super Regional (5/26). 

HIGH SCHOOL:
Earned four letters at Gahr High … Hit .564 with eight home runs and 21 RBI in a senior season cut short by injuries, including an ACL tear in late April … Held Gahr’s career record for batting average (.483), hits (136), home runs (29) and RBI (114) before her season ended … Named All-California Interscholastic Federation twice, in 2014 and 2016 … A four-time Cerritos All-Area honoree … Twice named the Area Player of the Year … Also twice the San Gabriel Valley League MVP and two-time Press Telegram Dream Team … Hit 11 home runs and added 36 RBI during her freshman season … Posted 26 and 28 RBI in her next two seasons, adding 10 doubles and six home runs as a junior … Played for the SoCal A’s travel-ball group, winning three national titles during her time (2014 and 2010 ASA, 2012 PGF) … A member of the Academic Honor Roll.

Alyssa Ryan Kumiyama is the daughter of Chris and Teresa Kumiyama … Has three siblings: brothers Bryan and Matt and younger sister Hannah … Sister Hannah plays for Carolina, too… Chose South Carolina over Texas A&M and Oregon … Says her favorite athlete is Bryce Harper as well as her sister Hannah… Majoring in exercise science.
