Appeared in just two meets during the indoor season and made his presence felt in the shot put … Earned First Team All-American honors after finishing runner-up at the NCAA Indoor Championship in the shot put, throwing a personal best mark of 20.46m (67-1.5) … His throw at the NCAA Indoor Championship now ranks second all-time in program history … Also earned Indoor All-SEC Second Team after finishing runner-up at the SEC Indoor Championship, throwing a then PR mark of 20.06m (65-9.75).

Threw the shot put in six meets during the outdoor season … Finished as a Second Team All-American at the NCAA Outdoor Championship … Made his way to the national meet after finishing third overall at the NCAA East Regional, throwing 19.89m (65-3.25) … Finished runner-up at the SEC Championship in the shot put, earning Second Team All-SEC after throwing 20.41m (66-11.5) … Opened his season with a win at the Florida Relays, throwing 20 meters even … Finished runner-up at both the Tom Jones Invitational and the USC Outdoor Open … At the Tom Jones, he threw a then personal best distance of 20.40m (66-11.25) but then bested that mark the following week when he tied Brad Snyder for the second longest throw in program history at 20.51m (67-3.5).

Missed the entire indoor season due to a lingering injury.

Outdoor

Threw the shot put in one meet, winning the USC Open on April 22 with a throw of 18.27m (59-11.25) … Missed the rest of the season after reaggravating the preseason injury.

Earned First Team All-American in shot put as well as First Team All-Ivy League … Competed in eight meets during the indoor season in the shot put and the weight throw … Began the season winning four consecutive shot-put titles, including the Dr. Sander Invitational in Columbia with a mark of 19.31m (63-4.25) … Set his indoor shot put personal-best in the Princeton Indoor Invitational with a mark of 19.77m (64-10.25), finishing first overall … Won the Ivy League shot put title with a mark of 19.23m (63-1.25) … Finished eighth at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in the shot put, setting a mark of 19.75m (64-9.75) to capture All-American honors.
