2014: Indoors – made two appearances in 2014, finishing 21st in the 500 meters at the Virginia Tech Invitational (1:08.68) and second at the Gamecock Indoor #1 in the 800 meters (2:09.02)…Outdoors – did not compete.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned letters in basketball in addition to cross country and track and field at Myrtle Beach High School…was the 2010 and 2012 SCHSL 3A State Champion in the 800m, three-time All-State Team honoree in the 800m, three-time Region 8-3A 800m champion, 2012 Region 8-3A 400m champion…winner of the 800m 2012 Beach Run Invitational…holds school records in the 400m and the 800m at Myrtle Beach High School …boasts personal bests of 50.40 in the 400m and 1:56.46 in the 800m.
PERSONAL: Son of Eric and Cookie Goings…has one sister, Whitney…cousin Britanna Canty Wilson played basketball at South Carolina…honor roll student who was a Beta Club and DECA Club member…participated in Mentoring Men…also considered Coastal Carolina and Saint Augustine but settled on South Carolina for the excellent academic program, world class coaching staff and facilities…intends to major in English.
