Short sprinter whose unwavering dedication to the sport aids team morale and relay squads … expected to be in consideration for a 4x100m relay spot.

2006: Competed in the 55m, 200m and 400m during the indoor season … ran 7.30 at the USC Invitational and also picked up the 400m win … at the SEC Indoor Championships, completed the 200m in a time of 26.47 … during the outdoor season, became a 100 and 200 specialist … top times of 12.26 (100m) from the Walt Disney Invitational and 25.15 (200m) at the Orange & Purple Classic rounded out a season punctuated with a 25.66 run at the SEC Outdoor Championships in the 200m.

2005: Competed in the sprints during the indoor season … best marks were 7.36 in the 55-meter dash, 26.49 in the 200m and 59.22 in the 400m … finished 38th in the 200 and 27th in the 400 at the SEC indoor meet … won the 100-meter dash at the South Carolina State Championships with a season-best time of 12.26 … competed in both the 100 and 200 at the SEC meet, placing 27th and 32nd with times of 12.60 and 26.06.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Northwestern High … lettered in cheerleading and track and field for four years … ran for coaches Calvin Hudgins and Benji Young … received the Top Trojan Award and the Team Leader Award for track and field … earned all-region and all-state honors in both 2003 and 2004, helping her team to the state title both years … ran a 12.32 in the 100m and 59.0 in the 400m at the state meet in 2003 … ran a 56.88 in the 400m at the 2004 state meet … best 200m time was 26.68 at the AAU regional meet in 2004.
