Adds depth to the intermediate hurdles corps and expected to also contribute to the 4x400m relay.
2006: Concentrated on the 400m during the indoor season … ran times of 49.36 at the Tyson Invitational and a 49.58 at the SEC Indoor Championships … switched to his hurdle specialty during the outdoor season … ran a 54.24 as a season-opener at the Weems Baskin Invitational … began dropping times, eventually running a season-best 52.21 at the Orange & Purple Classic … was an alternate on USC[apos]s 4x400m relay at the NCAA Championships.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Virtain Lukio High School in Virrat, Finland, in 2002 … coached by his father, Matti … also competed in ice hockey and volleyball in addition to running track.
