2008: NCAA East Region qualifier in the pole vault … South Carolina[apos]s Leadership award … indoors, opened season with a second place finish at the UNC Classic and a fourth place finish at the Tom Jones Memorial, both at 17-3 ¾ … took sixth at the Rod McCravy Invitational at a season best 12-1 ½ … placed 11th at the New Balance Invitational … claimed third at the Tiger Invitational and the Gamecock Invitational … placed 11th at the NCAA Last Chance meet at 12-0 … outdoors, took fourth at the Auburn Tiger Classic, seventh at the Spec Towns Invitational and second at the Friendship and Freedom Games … second at the Shamrcock Invitational at 11-11 ¾ … won the Penn Relays at a personal best 12-9, the third best jump in South Carolina history … competed at the SEC and NCAA East Regionals but did not register a clearance.
2007: Finished sixth at the Virginia Tech Invite to open the indoor season with a clearance of 11-6 1/2 … placed eighth at the Rod McCravy Invitational at 11-9 3/4 … placed fouth with a season best mark of 11-11 3/4 at the Tiger Classic … also took fourth at the Gamecock Invitational … tied for 13th at the SEC Indoor Championship with a mark of 11-6 1/2 … also competed in the high jump and long jump at the Rod McCravy Invitational, taking 18th in the high jump at 5-0 1/4 and 11th in th elong jump at 17-4 1/4 … outdoors, tied for fourth at the Hurricane Invite with a mark of 11-7 3/4 … cleared a personal best 12-1 3/4 at the Jim Click Shootout, placing sixth overall … came in fifth at the Weems Baskin Relays at 11-11 3/4 … took second at the State USATF meet and third at the Spec Towns National Invite … placed 11th overall with a clearance of 11-7 3/4 at the SEC Outdoor Championships.
2006: The New Balance Armory Collegiate Invitational marked the site of a 12-1 1/2 clearance in the pole vault before an SEC Championships performance of 11-11 3/4 … outdoors, a 12-0 clearance garnered a win at the State of South Carolina Track Meet … another strong performance of 11-11 3/4 at the SEC Outdoor Championships rounded out the year.
HIGH SCHOOL: Coached by Danny Brooks at Dreher High School … lettered in track and field and volleyball for Dreher … was a two-time all-state track star as well as a three-time all-region recipient … helped Dreher capture state titles in 2000, 2003 and 2004 … set high school pole vault record … competed at Nike Outdoor Nationals … two-time state champion in pole vault.
PERSONAL: Elizabeth June Todd was born Jan. 9, 1987 … parents are Monty and Sissy Todd … is currently pursuing a degree in sport administration … would like to become a deep-sea fishing tournament director … enjoys rock climbing, hunting and working out … chose South Carolina over Georgia and the College of Charleston.
