2012: NCAA East Preliminary participant…Did not compete in indoors…Outdoors, competed in the pole vault…finished second at the Weems Baskin Invitational, the Gamecock Open and the Tom Jones Memorial..top mark of 17-03.00 (5.26m) at Bob Pollack to finish third…scored at SEC Outdoor Championships, with an 8th place finish.
2011: Indoor NCAA participant … Second Team All-American … indoors, had a top clearance of 17-06.50 (5.35m) in the pole vault at the Tyson Invitational … won the Texas A&M Challenge and Gamecock Invitational … bronze medalist at the SEC Indoor Championships at 17-03.50 (5.27m) … placed 13th at the NCAA Indoor Championships at 17-02.75 (5.25m) … Outdoors, battled injuries, missing most of the season and only competing in three meets … had a top mark of 16-07.75 (5.07m) at the Florida Relays.
2010: NCAA Regional participant … SEC bronze medalist … indoors, had a top mark of 16-10.75 (5.15m) to earn bronze medal honors at the SEC Indoor Championships … outdoors, had a top mark of 16-06.75 (5.05m) at the Florida Relays … no heighted at the SEC Outdoor Championships and the NCAA Preliminary Round while battling a leg injury.
2009: NCAA East Region participant in the pole vault … indoors, had five top-five finishes, including a win at the Clemson Games … placed fifth at the New Balance Collegiate … took ninth overall at the SEC Indoor Championships by clearing a season best 16-0 3/4 … outdoors, continued his strong jumps by clearing 16-6 3/4 at the Pepsi Florida Relays to place fourth, setting a personal best … won the State USATF Meet … cleared 16[apos] in the final four meets of the season, highlighted by once again clearing 16-6 3/4 at the SEC Outdoor Championships to finish 10th … claimed 17th at the NCAA East Region meet at 16-1 1/4.
2008: Had a strong freshman season indoors … took second at the Tiger Invitational before claiming his first win at the Gamecock Invitational at 15-11 ¾ … narrowly missed scoring at the SEC Indoors with a ninth place finish at 15-11 … placed 15th at NCAA Last Chance meet … outdoors finished fourth at Weems Baskin Relays … outdoor best mark of 15-7.
HIGH SCHOOL: Coached by Larry Bost at White Knoll High School … lettered in track and wrestling … 2007 Junior Olympic All-American … seventh place Junior Olympic Nationals … seventh place in both Nike Indoor (2007) and Nike Outdoor (2007) … 2007 South Carolina state champion in pole vault … 2007 Taco Bell Champion … all-state, all-conference and all-american … named White Knoll track MVP.
