OUTLOOK: Tri-captain who enters senior year with a lot of experiences she can share with younger teammates … was a finalist in the 1500m at the SEC Championships as she improved her PR to 4:54 in the mile … with a track PR of 18:02 for 5K, running in the 17[apos]s this fall is a goal … Chain has been in the team[apos]s top three every season since her arrival at USC … last season was the team[apos]s first or second runner at every race.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was twice an All-American while running on the 4 x 800 relay … She was also seven-time all-state and four-time All-New England in high school.
PERSONAL: Born June 16, 1986 to Mark and Deb Chain.
