2014: A horizontal jumper…Indoors – secured a pair of top five long jump finishes at the Gamecocks[apos] home meets in the long jump, posting a season-best jump of 21[apos]8 ¾’ (6.62m) to place fourth at the Gamecock Invite…top mark of 45[apos]9′ to finish seventh in the triple jump at the Virginia Tech Invite…finished 15th in both the long (6.39m // 20-11.75) and triple (13.77m // 45-02.25) jump at SEC Indoor Championships…Outdoors – posted four top-10 finishes in the long and triple jump…at the home Weems Baskin meet, took seventh in the long jump with a season-best 21[apos]4 ¾’ (6.52m) and sixth in the triple jump (13.20m // 43-03.75)…hit a high mark of 46[apos]3 ¼’ (14.10m) in the triple jump to finish fifth at the Bill Carson Invitational

2013: Competed in the horizontal jumps…Indoors, posted a pair of top-six finishes to open the season at the Hokie Invitational, placing fourth in the triple jump with a season-best 46-08.00 (14.22m) and sixth in the long jump…posted a season best of 22-08.00 (6.91m) to place seventh in the long jump at the Tiger Paw Invite… Outdoors, jumped a season-best 21-11.50 (6.69m) in the long jump at the Hurricane Invitational to take 10th place…season-best finish of fourth at the home Gamecock Open on Weems Baskin Track.

2012: Indoors, logged an indoor season-best at the SEC Indoor Championship in the long jump at 20-09.25 (6.33m). Best mark of 45-11.25 (14.00m) in the triple jump at the Virginia Tech Invitational.
Outdoors, finished second at the Shamrock Invitational in the long jump with 21-05.25(6.66m, his top mark. Placed third at the Gamecock Open in the triple jump with a mark of 46-03.50 (14.11m).

2011: Did not compete indoors … Outdoors, competed unattached in two meets in the 200m … had a top time of 23.32.

HIGH SCHOOL: Had top marks of 45[apos]5 ½ in the triple jump and 22[apos]2 in the long jump … Took eighth at the NJSIAA Meet of Champions in the triple jump and second in the state sectionals … Placed 11th in the triple jump at the Nike Indoor Nationals and 15th in the long jump…New Balance Invitational Champion in the triple jump

PERSONAL: Member of the Honors College….member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars….Son of James and Geniece Adams…father James ran track and Villanova…two siblings, Franklin and Barden…intends to major in sports and entertainment management…also considered Ohio State, Georgia, Morehouse, Hampton and Florida State…came to South Carolina because it felt like a family team that cared about academics as well as athletics and because he felt at home even though he was so far away from family and friends.
