2013 Cross Country (Junior):
Led the Gamecocks in every race she competed and posted one of the best seasons in South Carolina history … Set a new program record in the 5K and ranked as the top collegiate runner in the Royal XC Challenge in Charlotte, finishing in 17:03.6 … Earned Southeastern Conference Female Athlete of the Week honors after that time … Posted three of the fastest 15 6K[apos]s in program history on the year … Her top time came in the SEC Championship, becoming the third person to break 21 minutes in program history (20:57.38) to finish 15th, one second from an All-SEC spot … Her second-best 6K came two weeks later in the NCAA Southeast Regional in Earlysville, Va., as her 21:17.4 placed her 27th, four seconds from All-Region honors, and 10th on the Gamecocks[apos] listing … Also clocked a 21:20.52 in the Indiana State Pre-National Invite White Race, finishing ninth … That time ranks 12th in program annals … Started the season with a fourth-place showing in the Carolina Challenge … Also finished seventh in the Mountain Dew Invitational and 60th in the Roy Griak Invitational.
2013 Track & Field (Sophomore): Earned a spot on the SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll … Posted the second fastest mile time (4:58.01) on the team during indoors, finishing 22nd in the SEC Indoor Championship preliminaries … Ranked fourth in the 3000m indoors at the Virginia Tech Final Qualifier (10:11.66) … Tallied the best 1500m time (4:35.11) outdoors for the Gamecocks, winning the Spec Towns race at 4:35.11 … Also won the 1500m at the Weems Baskin (4:43.98) … Ran the 5000m twice, finishing second at the Hurricane Invite before posting a 17:28.28 in the Raleigh Relays.
2012 Cross Country (Sophomore): Finished fifth on the team in the final two races of the year, posting a 22:25.67 in the NCAA Southeast Regional and a 22:28.51 in the SEC Championships … Also ran in the NCAA Pre-National and the Charlotte Invitational … Missed the first half of the season due to injury.
2012 Track & Field (Freshman): A member of the SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll … Ran the mile and 3000m indoors … Finished sixth in the Tiger Paw Invitational with her best mile time of 5:03.99 … Ranked 13th in the SEC Indoor Championships mile prelims … Tallied a 10:09.87 in the 3000m at the Rod McCravy Memorial … Also ran the leadoff leg on the distance medley relay team at the SEC Indoor Championships … Competed in the 1500m mainly during the outdoor season … Finished third in the Shamrock Invitational 1500m … Her best 1500m time of 4:35.11 came in the North Florida Invitational … Also ran the 3000m at the Shamrock Invitational, placing fifth (10:05.12).
2011 Cross Country (Freshman): Ranked fifth on the team in the Charlotte Invitational, running her best 5K time of the year (18:42.33) … Her best 6K time came in the 26th Annual Roy Griak Invitational, clocking in at 23:28.40, ranking third on the team … Posted a 24:18.60 at the SEC Championships … Also ran in the Indiana State Pre-National Invitational, the Gamecock Invitational and the Winthrop Invitational.
High School: Combined to gain 10 letters in track and cross country at Howard High School … A two-time member of the Maryland State Cross Country Championship team (2006 & 2007) … Graduated in the top five percent of her class.
Personal: Majoring in political science and criminal justice … Spent the summer of 2012 interning with Account 3, a non-profit group in London … Co-teaching a University 101 class as a peer leader.
