Indoors: Won his first collegiate mile at the Gamecock Indoor #1 (4:39.98)…hit a season best of 4:38.11 at the Gamecock Invitational to take third.
Outdoors: Posting a top 3K time of 9:06.38 to finish fifth at the Bill Carson Invitational… won the 3,000 meter steeplechase at Bill Carson, posting a season-best time of 9:28.18…finished 16th in the steeplechase at his first SEC Championships, recording a time of 9:37.32.

2013
Did not run attached for the Gamecocks during the indoor or outdoor season…competed at the 2013 USA Track and Field Junior Championships in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, placing 18th with a time of 10:36.06.
