2017 SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll

2017
Indoors: Competed in the weight throw at six meets… finished second in her season-opener, the Clemson Invitational, where she threw 52-9 1/2… upped her mark to 55-3 1/4 at the Vanderbilt Invitational… threw a personal best at her final indoor meet, when she hit 56-4 1/2 to finish 20th at the SEC Championships.
Outdoors: Had a strong season throwing the hammer… finished fifth at the season-opening Hurricane Invitational… went over 50 meters, hitting 167-3, at the Gamecock Invitational… set a new PR in her final meet, where she finished 14th at the SEC Championships with an effort of 174-3.

2016
Indoors: Competed in the weight throw… cracked the 50-foot mark at five out of her six competitions… won the USC Open #1 with a throw of 15.39 meters (50-6)… was the top collegiate finisher at the USC Open #2, with a throw of 50-5 1/2… recorded her top mark of the season at the SEC meet, throwing 53-9 1/2 to finish 18th.
Outdoors: Moved to the hammer outdoors… opened her season with a top mark of 152 feet, eight inches, to finish 16th at the Shamrock Invite… finished 11th at the Seminole Invite (148-11).

2015
Sat out as a transfer… Competed unattached at the USC Invitational and the Shamrock Invite.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL
2013-14 Indoor: Had three top-15 finishes in the weight throw including a 10th place performance at the A-Sun Championships for USC Upstate…Finished 12th at the Appalachian Invitational and Mountaineer Open where she turned in a season-best throw of 13.40-meters…Ranked 10th in the A-Sun for the weight throw… 2013 Outdoor: Finished 3rd with a hammer throw of 35.06-meters at the Johnson C. Smith Invitational where she also finished 9th in the discus (29.44-meters)… 2012-13 Indoor: Posted a top finish of 12th in the shot put (12.92-meters) at the A-Sun Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered in cheerleading and track & field at Stratford High School in Goose Creek, S.C… Placed fifth in the discus at the South Carolina 2A State Championships… also participated in cheerleading and was captain of the squad for two seasons.

PERSONAL
Born Aug. 7, 1994… born in Sacramento, Calif. … daughter of Pam Williams… Has one sister, Caitlin, who ran cross country for the Gamecocks from 2009-11.
