2019
Indoors: Finished with a 2019 team-best time of 7.39 at the SEC Championships in the 60m, finishing in 12th… Claimed two 60m first-place crowns at the Clemson Opener and the Gamecock Inaugural… Finished in second in the 60m at the Carolina Challenge with a time of 7.42… Was a member of the 4x400m relay twice during the indoor season, claiming titles at the Clemson Opener… Ran the 200m twice during the indoor season, including a seventh-place finish at the Tiger Paw Invitational.
Outdoors: Ran in two individual events during the outdoor season, including the USC Outdoor Open in the 200m and the Buccaneer Invitational in the 400m.
2018
Indoors: Was Carolina’s top performer in both the 60m and the 200m… won both events at both the Navy Winter Invitational and the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational… ran a PR of 7.38 to win the 60m at the Darius Dixon… Matched that PR at the SEC Championships, finishing 16th… placed 24th in the 200m at the SEC meet with a PR of 23.78.
Outdoors: Earned All-America laurels for the second-straight season as part of the 4x100m relay… also served as Carolina’s top 100m individual performer… matched her PR with a run of 11.60 in the 100m at the Tennessee Relays… placed 22nd in the 100 at the SEC Championships… part of the 4x100m relay’s victory at the USC Open… led the 4×1 to a scoring effort at the SEC Championships, when the Gamecocks finished eighth in 44.49… guided the 4×1 to another eighth-place finish at the NCAA East Regional, as the team ran 44.02 to secure a trip to nationals… ran at Eugene for the second-straight season, leading the 4×1 to a 14th-place finish and second-team All-America honors with a time of 44.17.
2017
Indoors: Ran both the 60m at the 200m individually… in the 60, her season-best of 7.55 came at the Armory Invitational, where she qualified for the semifinals… finished 30th in the 60 at the SEC Championships in a time of 7.63… earned a third-place finish at the Clemson Invitational with a time of 24.52 in the 200… placed 28th at SECs in the 200, running a season-best 24.40.
Outdoors: Primarily ran the 100m outdoors, with a PR of 11.60 coming in a second-place finish at the Weems Baskin Invitational… ran 11.80 at the SEC Championships to finish 28th… also ran the 200m at SEC, finishing 31st in a time of 23.90… was a huge part of Carolina’s 4x100m relay, including four victories and six podiums in the regular season… led the relay to a 12th-place finish at the NCAA East Regional to qualify for nationals… the 4×1 squad placed 14th at the NCAA Championships to earn second-team All-America honors… also ran on the 4x200m relay that was victorious at the Penn Relays.
2016
Indoors: Had a breakout weekend at the Armory Invite, running the 60 and 200m… ran her best 60m time in the prelims at the Armory (7.54)… ran the top qualifying time in the 200m at the Armory (24.08) and finished third in the final (24.19)… ran 24.27 at the SEC Championship… scored for the team at the conference meet in the 4x400m relay.
Outdoors: Ran three different distances at three meets… opened the season in the 400 at the Shamrock Invite, finishing ninth (55.51)… ran the 200m at the Yellow Jacket Invite, running 24.37 to take 10th place… ran the 100m at the Florida Relays (11.98)… also ran on 4×1, 4×2, 4×4 and sprint medley relay teams… won the 4×200 relay with her team at the Shamrock Invite.
HIGH SCHOOL
Twice named the Gatorade Delaware Girls Track & Field Athlete of the Year (2013, 2014)… state champion in the 100m/200m/400m… ran the fastest indoor 200m time by any female in the state of Delaware… High School All-American… Junior Olympic Nationals All-American.
PERSONAL
Born June 18, 1997… daughter of Mark Dendy and Dionne Jones-Dendy… has two siblings, Marquis and Micaiah… Marquis was a national champion in the long jump and triple jump for Florida and won the 2015 Bowerman… plans to major in Criminology and Psychology.
