Finished her Gamecock career as an SEC scorer and an NCAA East Regional qualifier… won three competitions, taking the top spot in the Black & Gold Challenge, the Weems Baskin Invitational and the Tennessee Relays… added second-place finishes at the Gamecock Invitational and the USC Open… came in 10th at her final Penn Relays… threw 47.67m (156-4), a season best, to finish eighth at the SEC Championships and score to the Gamecocks… ended her career at the NCAA East Regional, where she finished 35th.
2017

2016
Had a breakout season in the javelin… national qualifier… finished 13th at the NCAA Championship, earning her second-team All-American honors… won the the Seminole Invite (151-7)… finished fourth at the Penn Relays (148-2)… broke through at the SEC Championship, where she set a 13-foot personal best to finish sixth overall despite entering the meet ranked 16th in the SEC… the mark moved her up to second in school history for the event, and she became the women’s team’s first scorer in the event since 2012… added eight feet to her final attempt at the regional meet to finish eighth (159-10)… earned the team’s first women’s national qualifier in the javelin since Candy Mitchell, the school’s record-holder in the event, made it to the NCAA championships in 2000.
2015
Javelin specialist… NCAA East Regional qualifier… in just her second collegiate meet, she threw 153-1 to win the Crimson Tide Invite… the throw is the second-best in program history… returned to her home state of Pennsylvania and won the college division of the Penn Relays, throwing 150-8… finished 17th at the SEC Championships (139-6)… finished 24th at the East Regional… qualified for the USATF Junior National meet, where she finished 15th overall.
HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered in soccer and lacrosse along with track… finished second in the 2013 state meet… won an individual title at the Penn Relays… holds her school and league record in the javelin… also holds the school record in the long jump.
PERSONAL
Daughter of Weifei and Michael Freedman… has two siblings.
