Outdoors: Took part in three meets… ran the 1500m at the USC Open, placing 14th… took 26th in the 5000m at the Weems Baskin Invitational and 12th in the event at the Gamecock Invitational… ran his 5K PR at the Weems, a time of 16:13.62

Earned the United States Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award and the Raider Athletic Club Outstanding Athlete Award in 2016… Was a five-time Cross Country All-Region selection at Larry A. Ryle High School… Earned Cross Country Runner of the Year awards in 2014 and 2015… Was a Regional Champion and an All-State… Was Team MVP of the Track team in 2016, when he broke school records in the 3200m and the distance medley relay… Owns several school records at Ryle, and was a team captain.

Son of Shelby and Michelle Reed… Has two siblings, Jordan and Morgan… Plans to major in international business, economics and Spanish at South Carolina… Chose South Carolina over Stanford, NYU and Kentucky for the unparalleled international business education and the incredible Top Scholars program.
