Indoor: Ran in the 5,000 meters at the SEC Championships and took 15th with a time of 17:29.64 … Ran a season-best time of 17:17.44 in the 5,000 meters at the South Carolina Invitational and finished second … Ran the 3,000 meters at the USC Indoor Open with a time of 9:58.45 and placing third.
Outdoor: Ran in the 10,000 meters at the SEC Championships and finished in 20th place with a time of 36:54.74 … Won thee 5,000 meters at Weems Baskin with a time of 17:15.23 … Ran a season-best time of 17:13.86 in the 5,000 meters at thee Charlotte Invitational for sixth place … Was the runner-up in the 3,000 meters at the USC Open with a season-best time of 10:03.87 … Also ran the 3,000 meters at the Florida Relays.
2020 Cross Country
Had her best season at Carolina during her senior year… Dropped significant time in both her 5K and 6K PRs during the short season… Started the season at the FSU Invite, setting a lifetime PR of 18:03.9 to take sixth, the best finish of her career… Competed at the UAB Blazer Classic, a 6K event, finishing in 13th in a time of 21:44.81… Had her best career finish at the SEC Championships, taking 51st in a PR of 21:31.30.
2020 Track
Indoors: Ran in three meets for the Gamecocks… Had her best performance at the Carolina Challenge where she finished with a new PR of 17:31.50… Opened the season at the Gamecock Opener where she finished in eighth in the 3000m in a time of 10:27.91… Improved on her 3000m time at the South Carolina Invite where she finished in 16th in a time of 10:23.24.
Outdoors: Cancelled.
2019 Cross Country
Was named a captain as a junior… Was in the Carolina lineup three times as a junior, including competing at the NCAA Southeast Regional… Opened the season with a 14th place finish at the Carolina Challenge… Finished 19th at the Adidas XC Challenge with a new PR of 18:12.9 in the 5K event, helping South Carolina finish as the runner-up.
2019 Track
Indoors: Set a new personal best in three different events and competed at six meets overall… ran her best mile time, 5:09.36, at the Prange & Purple Elite… finished the 3000m in 10:07.24 at the Dr. Sander Challenge… finished on the podium at the USC Indoor Open with a 3K time of 10:15.70… placed 45th in the 3000m at the SEC Championships with a time of 10:28.81… ran the 5000m at three meets, finishing second at the Gamecock Inaugural with a time of 17:34.41.
Outdoors: Saw action in five meets, running both the 1500m and the 5000m… set a new 1500m personal best at the Black & Gold Challenge, when she finished seventh in 4:42.87… ran a 5000m PR at Florida Relays, a time of 18:08.60.
2018 Cross Country
Was in the lineup five times as a sophomore, including appearances at the SEC and NCAA regional meets… opened her season finishing 22nd at the Carolina Challenge with a time of 18:57.5… finished 54th at the Joe Piane Invitational, checking in with a time of 18:46.85… had perhaps her best career showing at the Charleston Classic, helping Carolina win the team title with a fourth-place finish and a time of 18:54.7… finished 92nd at the SEC Championships, clocking a time of 21:24.70… placed 189th at the NCAA Southeast Regional, finishing the 6K course in 23:04.1.
2018 Track
Indoors: Ran the 3000m at four meets… had her best time at the Columbia Challenge, when she crossed the line in 10:16.79… placed 10th at the Tiger Paw Invitational.
Outdoors: Took part in two meets… finished 11th in the 5000m at the Gamecock Invitational with a mark of 19:13.95.
2017 Cross Country
Ran four times… Finished sixth in her debut, leading all Gamecock freshmen at the Carolina Challenge with a time of 18:43.0… Came in 32nd at the Bulldog SEC Preview with a mark of 23:18.8… Also ran at the Joe Piane Invitational and the SEC Championships.
High School
Competed at Prospect High School … Finished in the top 25 three-consecutive years in the Illinois High School Association 3A Cross Country State Championship, including two top-five rankings … Posted her best 3-mile race in the 2015 finals, clocking a 16.33.30 to rank third … Tallied a 16:49 in the 2016 finals to finish fifth as a senior … Also has two sub-18 5K marks on her resume with the best time of 17:49.9 coming in the 2015 Nike Cross Midwest Regional … Posted a 17:56.1 in the 2016 Foot Locker Midwest Regional … Twice finished in the top five in the IHSA Outdoor State Championships at 3200m, including her top time of 10:43.87 as a junior … Ranked fifth with that mark, while she took silver in the 2015 state finals with a 10:51.36 time … Compiled two sub-5:00 1600m runs in her outdoor high school career, both coming in the 2015 IHSA state meet … Finished sixth in the finals after posting a 4:59.71 in the prelims … Ranked 11th both as a junior and senior outdoors, posting a 5:00.55 time as a senior … Indoors at 1600m, she tallied a 4:59.62 in the Nagel-Saylor Invite in 2017 … Named to the IHSA All-State Academic Team and was a national AP scholar … Earned the Howard Lester and Michael Keane Awards, the former given to the district’s top athlete with the latter going to Prospect’s top scholar-athlete … Also named Prospect High’s Female Athlete of the Year.
