Indoor: Ran in three 400-meter races for Carolina … Finished in the top 10 all three races … Ran his season’s best time of 48.22 at the Bob Pollock Meet … Also ran at the Gamecock Opener and Carolina Challenge.
Outdoor: Ran at the SEC Championships in the 400-meter hurdles and did not finish the race … Ran at five other meets in the 400-meter hurdles … Threw down his best time of the year at the USC Open, running a time of 50.67 … Was the runner-up in the 400-meter hurdles at the Tiger Track Classic and the Weems Baskin … Rounded out his four top-five finishes with a fourth-place finish at the UNF Invitational … Did not finish the 400-meter hurdles at the Florida Relays.
2020
Indoors: Was one of Carolina’s top 400m competitors during the indoor campaign after missing the last indoor season… Was a member of the Gamecocks 4x400m relay team that qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships with the ninth-best time in the country at 3:06.53… Ran a 400m PR of 48.02 at the Tiger Paw Invite to take 28th, dropping his previous Indoor PR by more than a second… Finished in the top 10 in the 400m four times during the indoor season… Ran a PR in the 200m with a time of 21.95 to take 28th at the South Carolina Invite… Ran at the SEC Championships in the 400m and the 4x400m Relay… Helped the Gamecocks score in the 4x400m Relay at the SEC Championships, finishing fourth with their NCAA Indoor Championships qualifying time.

2019
Indoors: Did not compete.
Outdoors: Competed in seven meets in his second collegiate season… won his season-opener in the 400m hurdles, clocking 53.26 at the Buccaneer Invitational… added a third-place finish with a time of 51.86 at the Spec Towns Invitational… just missed qualifying for his first conference final, running a season-best 51.45 to place 11th at the SEC Championships… qualified for the NCAA East Regional for the second-straight season… accompanied the Gamecocks to Austin as an alternate on the 4x400m relay team at the NCAA Championships… opened his summer season at the Barbados National Championships, running a new PR, 51.25, to finish second… ran the 400mH at the NACAC U23 Championships in Queretaro, Mexico, placing fourth with a new PR in the final, 51.18.
2018
Indoors: Ran the 400m at seven meets for the Gamecocks… posted his best time, 49.95, at the Clemson Invitational… finished seventh in the event at both the Navy Winter Invitational and the UCS Invitational… also part of the 4x400m relay, including victories at Navy and Liberty.
Outdoors: Transitioned to the 400m hurdles, where he was Carolina’s top performer and earned a spot at the NCAA East Regional… won the event in his outdoor debut at the Black & Gold Challenge… added a third-place finish at the USC Open and a fifth-place result at Penn Relays… finished 12th at his first SEC Outdoor Championships with a mark of 52.55… ran a season-best 51.49 in the East Regional first round to finish 17th and move on to quarterfinals… placed 24th in the quarterfinal round… also ran the 4x400m relay, including a second-place result at the USC Open and a ninth-place finish at the conference meet.
High School
Graduated from Christ Church Foundational School, where he ran track & field under head coaches Sebiert Straughn and Alwyn Babb… Won the Barbados Secondary Schools 400m championship each season from 2014-16… Was a two-time CARIFTA champion, a Commonwealth Youth Games Champion and a two-time World Youth Championships finalist… Came stateside for the 2017 Penn Relays, where he finished second in the boys’ division of the 400m hurdles.
Personal
Son of Lindsay and Marlowe Leacock… His father is a policeman in their hometown of St. George… Chose Carolina because of the track program’s rich history and the strong academic standards… Picked the Gamecocks over Georgia, Florida State, UTSA and Kent State… Plans to major in criminal justice.
