Full name is Samantha Rae Swinehart…Born October 9, 1991, in Marietta, Ga….Parents are Steve and Terri Swinehart… Her father, Steve, is a 1980 South Carolina graduate and was a reserve quarterback for the Gamecock football team from 1976-79…Her brother, Dane, plays baseball at Belmont University…Has not declared a major…Chose South Carolina because of the coaching staff, team and facilities, and because it is a place she feels she can succeed academically and grow athletically.
