Competed in three events during the spring season, making one appearance in Carolina’s lineup…Totaled a career-best 225 (+12) at the 2018 Darius Rucker Intercollegiate to finish in a tie for 36th…Played as an individual at the 2018 Evans Derby Experience (T59, +15) and 2018 Bryan National Collegiate (T58, +19)…Boasted her best 18-hole score of the season at the Evans Derby Experience, carding a 1-over 73 in the second round.

2015-16
Appeared in three tournaments as a freshman and finished the season with a 79.44 stroke average…Made her collegiate debut at the 2015 Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational, placing in a tie for 64th (232, +16)…Carded one round under par, posting a 71 (-1) in the third round of the Tar Heel Invitational, and her 232 in the event marked her low 54-hole score of the season…Competed as an individual in the 2015 Landfall Tradition and the 2016 Bryan National Collegiate, South Carolina’s final regular-season tournament.

Played for Buchholz High School in Gainesville, Fla…led Buchholz to four straight state tournaments…helped team qualify for state her senior year by firing a team-low 76 in the Region 1-3A golf tournament…placed fourth at 2014 Class 3A state tournament where she shot a 2-under 70 on the second day – the second-best round of the tournament…earned top-five finish at the Gainesville Junior Challenge…placed 44th of 229 at TaylorMade-adidas Golf Junior at Innisbrook this April…grabbed a top-10 finish in the AJCA Junior and placed in the top 25 of the 3A State Championships in 2013…won the inaugural Jill Darr Invitational, an event named after the former South Carolina golfer…named the 2014 Women’s Golfer of the Year by The Gainesville Sun after her senior year…earned Gainesvile Sun All-Area Team honors each season while at Bucholz…tabbed the TV20 and Meldon Law Scholar Athlete of the Week and was named the Player of the Year of the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour and the Gainesville Junior Golf Tour…finished with a 4.452 GPA at Buchholz…was the recipient of the National AP Scholar Award, AP Scholar With Distinction Award and AP Scholar With Honor Award…member of the A/B Honor Roll as well as the National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta.

Full name is Gabrielle Annalee Amos…born Aug. 7, 1996…political science major…daughter of Vance and Eileen Amos…her dad Vance ran track and field at Florida…sister of Tyson (17) and Reese (15)…chose the Gamecocks because of the coaching staff, facilities, South Carolina’s No. 1 Honors College and the tradition of the golf program’s success.
