2006-07 (JUNIOR): Recorded an overall record of 13-13 in singles matches and went 7-8 in duals … Posted a 4-5 mark in SEC contests … Held a 2-2 slate at the fourth singles position, was 3-5 at No. 5 singles and earned a 2-1 record at six … Played doubles with Laura Ganzer, Miranda Gutierrez and Natasa Vuckovic … The bulk of her matches were played with Ganzer, as the two were 12-7 as partners … McGavock was 12-9 overall and 4-7 in duals, which included a 3-4 ledger in SEC play … Made her third appearance in a row on the SEC Academic Honor Roll … Had a rough start to the fall with four consecutive losses but responded with a six-match winning streak … Won the B-2 flight at the Southern Intercollegiate Championships, dropping just seven games in four matches and winning every second set by a 6-0 score … Was a semifinalist at the SEC Fall Coaches Classic after defeating Auburn[apos]s Jil Hasternath 6-4, 6-2 in the round of 16 and Caroline Winebrenner of Kentucky 6-0, 6-1 in the quarters … Lost in three sets to Lara Fakhoury from Georgia in the semifinals … Won her singles match against Georgia[apos]s Kelley Hyndman at the No. 5 slot by a count of 6-4, 6-2 … Her most critical win of the season came against Kentucky in the Gamecocks[apos] last home match of the season … Upended Jessica Giuggioli 6-7(5), 6-0, 6-4 on court five to give Carolina a 4-3 victory and a bye in the first round of the SEC Tournament … In doubles, McGavock and Ganzer won the B-1 flight at the Southern Intercollegiate Championships … The following weekend, the tandem claimed the B flight of the SEC Fall Coaches Classic by downing teams from Alabama, Georgia and Vanderbilt … Won 8-6 in the title match against Sveke/Ulery from Vandy. 2005-06 (SOPHOMORE): Was the Gamecocks[apos] most consistent performer in the spring, as she led the team in dual-match victories with a 16-5 record … Went 21-10 overall … Played all the singles positions except the top two … The majority of her matches were played at No. 5 singles, where McGavock was 12-3 … Had a 15-15 slate in doubles play, which included a 12-11 record in duals … Was used nearly equally at all three doubles slots, playing nine at No. 1 doubles, eight at the second spot and six at three doubles … Won her first six contests in duals after going 0-4 at a January tournament in Las Vegas … Also won nine of her first 10 in dual matches with the one loss coming in three sets … Defeated Mimi Renaudin of Ole Miss by scores of 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 to help the Gamecocks to a 4-3 victory over the Rebels … McGavock was 6-4 overall in SEC matches … Registered a 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 triumph over Vanderbilt[apos]s Caroline Ferrell … Gave the Gamecocks their one point in a first-round NCAA loss to Wake Forest by downing Sierra Poske 6-1, 6-1 at No. 5 singles … Finished the fall with an impressive 5-1 record … Competed only in the USTA and Southern Intercollegiate tournaments … Won four matches at the Southern Intercollegiate to win her flight … Made the SEC Academic Honor Roll for the second straight year. 2004-05 (FRESHMAN): Was a significant contributor for South Carolina as a freshman, going 19-8 in singles and 15-10 in doubles … Had a successful fall season where she went 10-5 and won her flight at the SEC Fall Coaches Classic … Defeated Audrey Bordeleau from Arkansas in the final 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 … Had to win three of the four matches at the event in three sets … Stepped into the starting lineup midway through the dual-match season and went 8-2 playing primarily at No. 6 singles … In her first dual match against Alabama, McGavock upended Andrea Brenes at the No. 6 slot 6-2, 5-7, 7-5 to help South Carolina earn a 4-3 victory … Snagged one of the Gamecocks[apos] two points at Tennessee, as McGavock defeated Ghizela Schutte in three sets … Went on to win four more matches in a row after the UT contest to extend her unbeaten streak to six … Beat Nebraska[apos]s Katie Garcia 6-3, 6-3 in the first round of NCAA play to help the Gamecocks win their 12th opening-round match in a row … Played doubles with Grace Blakely, Miranda Gutierrez, Fallon Koon and Magda Wojdylo … Named to the SEC Freshmen Academic Honor Roll … Was a Dean[apos]s List member for the fall and spring semesters.
