ATHLETICS

  • Went 7-14 in singles play throughout the year, including a 5-3 record in the fall
  • Advanced to the quarterfinals of the Jack Kramer Collegiate Invitational
  • Earned her highest career ranking, coming in a No. 50 in the preseason rankings
  • Played the majority of the dual-match season in the No. 2 and 3 spots
  • Posted a three-set win over her opponent at Clemson to complete a 7-0 sweep of the Palmetto State Rival

  • Defeated the nation’s No. 14 doubles pair, Imparato and Smith of Auburn, (March 31) with teammate Hadley Berg

2015-16 (JUNIOR)

ATHLETICS

  • Selected to compete at the NCAA Singles Championships in Tulsa, Okla.
  • Took over the No. 1 spot in the singles lineup where she earned three ranked wins
  • Finished 6-19 in singles and 13-10 in doubles
  • Reliable performer at No. 2 doubles, where she posted a 7-4 SEC record, tying for the team lead in SEC wins
  • Earned a straight-set victory over No. 11 Joana Eidukonyte of No. 21 Clemson (Feb. 20) to set up a come-from-behind 4-3 win over the Tigers
  • Pulled off a three-set win over No. 24 Sydney Campbell of No. 5 Vanderbilt (Mar. 10) to even the match at 3-all as the Gamecocks eventually knocked off the defending champions 4-3
  • Knocked off No. 29 Arianne Hartono of No. 40 Ole Miss (Apr. 21) in straight sets to help Carolina sweep the Rebels
  • Clinched South Carolina’s win over Tennessee (Apr. 15) with a strong 6-4, 6-2 performance
  • With Brigit Folland, clinched the doubles point against No. 7 Florida (Mar. 26) with a 7-6 (6) tiebreak victory over the nation’s No. 30-ranked tandem
  • Did not compete in the fall due to injury

2014-15 (SOPHOMORE)

ATHLETICS

  • Moved up from the Nos. 5 and 6 positions to the No. 2 spot as a sophomore
  • Won 20 singles matches for the second year in a row
  • Earned a signature win over defending NCAA singles champion and then-No. 42 Danielle Collins of Virginia in a Jan. 30 dual match in Charlottesville, Va.
  • Received her first career national singles ranking following the win against Collins coming in at No. 121 on Feb. 10
  • Ended the season with a No. 119 singles ranking, the best mark of her career
  • Began the spring ranked No. 58 in doubles with Megen Cochran
  • Reached the round of 16 at the USTA/ITA Carolina Regional Championships
  • Won eight of her first nine dual matches to open the spring
  • Grabbed a key win for the Gamecocks in a 4-3 victory over Princeton in the first round of the NCAA Tournament
  • Had a ranked win over No. 76 Nadia Ravita of Kentucky on April 5
  • Began playing the No. 1 doubles spot with Hadley Berg against Texas A&M on March 6
  • Ended the season 12-6 playing doubles with Berg that included a 7-6 mark at the top
  • Ranked No. 33 in doubles nationally with Berg in the final ITA poll, the highest billing of her career
  • Earned a top-20 doubles victory against Herring/Perez (20) of Georgia on April 12
  • Also teamed with Cochran and Ximena Siles Luna for doubles in dual matches

2013-14 (FRESHMAN)

ATHLETICS

  • Tied for the team lead in victories for the fall with an 8-4 record
  • Held down the Nos. 5 and 6 positions during the spring and compiled a 12-7 mark between the two
  • One of three Gamecocks to post 20 wins in singles
  • Played doubles with six different partners throughout the season and compiled a mark of 14-13 overall
  • A regular at No. 3 doubles playing alongside Meghan Blevins, Brigit Folland and Ximena Siles Luna
  • Ended the spring playing with Siles Luna
  • Won the first five singles matches of her career to include a singles title for her respective flight at the Tribe Invitational in September
  • Also snagged the first two SEC matches of her career in straight sets against Missouri and Texas A&M
  • Won a key match versus No. 30 Kentucky over Caitlin McGraw to help the Gamecocks defeat the Wildcats and essentially clinch a bid to the NCAA Tournament
  • Defeated Emily Zabor of Alabama in the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament in a match where the Gamecocks nearly upset the top-seeded and No. 3-ranked Crimson Tide
  • Earned a win against a ranked doubles opponent when she teamed with Siles Luna to upend No. 58 Altick/Casares from Vanderbilt in the last regular-season match of the year

HIGH SCHOOL

  • Coached by Mike Wilson
  • Won the wildcard into the WTA $25,000 in Osprey, Fla., in April 2011 and competed against top American pro Coco Vandeweghe in the first round
  • Also won the USTA US Open National Playoffs Florida Sectional Qualifying Tournament
  • Played in a WTA $50,000 event in Osprey in March 2013 as well as a $25,000 in Innisbrook, Fla., and a $10,000 in Gainesville, Fla., both during spring 2013
  • Ended the 2012 season with a 1,158 WTA ranking
  • Achieved a career-high ranking of 1,142 in March 2012
  • Skewed her competition schedule more toward ITF tournaments rather than American events to get the most international exposure as possible
