2015-16 (FRESHMAN)

ATHLETICS

  • A solid contributor in doubles, going 10-4 and 1-1 in dual match play
  • Went 3-4 in singles during the fall, but did not compete in any dual matches
  • Paired with Ingrid Gamarra Martins to go 8-2, winning their first six decisions to start the fall
  • With Martins, went 3-0 at the Furman Fall Classic (Sept. 26) to start the season, capturing the Flight 2 doubles title
  • Paired with Martins, advanced to the ITA Carolina Regional Semifinals with wins over duos from Furman (Oct. 22), Winthrop (Oct. 23) and Duke (Oct. 24)
  • With Martins, competed in and won her first dual match against William & Mary (Feb. 6)
  • Posted a 3-1 mark in tiebreakers
  • Won her first collegiate singles match against Iowa at the Furman Fall Classic (Sept. 27) in a 10-8 third-set super tiebreak
  • Topped Chelsea Crovetti of the University of Texas at the Kitty Harrison Invitational (Nov. 7) in a 10-5 super tiebreak for her third singles win

  • Recipient of the 2013 Maureen Connolly Brinker Sportsmanship Award and was nominated for it again the following year
