2018 (SENIOR)

  • Ended her illustrious career with one of the best all-around seasons ever for a Gamecock libero, leading the team with 406 digs and 75 service aces
  • Finished her four-year career without missing a single set, finishing with 120 career matches played. Her 448 total sets were the most by any player in the rally-scoring era and her 121 matches rank second, but no other player played as many consecutively.
  • Had multiple service aces in 20 of the team’s 30 matches, and moved all the way up to third in the program’s all-time history for her career with 212.
  • She led the SEC and ranked second nationally with 0.67 aces/set
  • Her 75 aces were a career high, and the most by any Gamecock since 1998.
  • Finished her career as the only player in the program’s all-time history to reach 2,000 assists, 1,000 digs and 175 aces in a career.
  • Came just four digs from breaking the program’s career digs record, finishing at 1,460 in four seasons.
  • Her 212 service aces are 127 more than any other player in the rally-scoring era.
  • Ended her career with 2,082 career assists, the tenth-most in program history.
  • Set a career high with seven aces at Rice, the most in a single match by any Gamecock since 2002 (8/31). 
  • Finished the regular season with four straight matches with 20 or more digs. 
  • Led the team with 18 digs and five aces vs. Colorado (11/30) in the NCAA tournament first round, good for the most aces ever in a tournament match for the Gamecocks.

2017 (JUNIOR)

  • Made the switch from setter to libero, and had one of the best seasons ever by a Gamecock defender, totaling a career-high 527 digs
  • Ranked third in the SEC for digs, and her 527 are the second-most ever in a single season in the program’s 45-year history
  • Led the SEC with 49 aces, which are also a new career high, and became the first player in the rally-scoring era to eclipse 100 career aces
  • Became the fourth Gamecock ever to reach 2,000 career assists, 1,000 digs and 100 aces; the first since Megan Hosp in 2002
  • She was the nation’s only active junior to reach all three career milestones
  • Recorded 16 aces over 13 sets at the Carolina Classic, including six against Miami (Ohio) to match a career high and tying the program record for aces in a five-set match (9/8)
  • Dug up a career-high 25 balls against Tennessee (10/1), and matched that high with 25 more at Auburn, also adding in eight assists (10/18)
  • Continued her streak of not missing a set for her career, pushing past 336 sets and 91 matches played without missing time

2016 (SOPHOMORE)

  • Was the lone player on the team to play in all 106 of the team’s sets for the year
  • Spent most of the season in a two-setter offense, but still finished with 6.85 assists per set to lead the team
  • Made big strides in service accuracy, netting just six fewer aces from her freshman year while cutting her service errors from 94 in 2015 to just 62
  • Ranked fourth in the SEC and 50th nationally in aces per set, and set a rally-scoring-era record for most aces by a sophomore in school history, one year removed from setting the freshman record
  • Moved up to ninth in school history for career double-doubles after recording seven in 2016
  • Went over 20 assists in a match 18 times, and over 30 nine times
  • Recorded a career-high six aces vs. Buffalo, the fourth-most ever by a Gamecock in a three-set match (9/10)
  • Had a season-high 15 digs to go with 29 assists in the win over Tennessee (9/28)
  • Distributed 34 assists with 14 digs at LSU (10/16)
  • Totaled 38 assists, four kills and three aces vs. Georgia (11/6)

2015 (FRESHMAN)

  • Shined in her role as starting setter, finishing with one of the best seasons by a true freshman in program history
  • Started all 31 matches and did not miss a single set all season (114 in total)
  • Finished the season as the SEC leader in aces (with 47) and sixth in the conference for assists per set (10.24)
  • Nationally, her assists per set ranked 83rd and her aces total came 23rd
  • In the program record books, her 1,167 total assists are the second and her 47 aces are fourth-most in the rally-scoring era
  • Also proved to be a standout defender, finishing second on the team with 309 digs, the third-most ever by a Gamecock freshman in a single season
  • Hit 50 kills and blocked 51 shots for the year, fourth-most on the team
  • Her two-way prowess helped her finish the season with 18 double-doubles, good for the most in the SEC and the sixth-most for a single season in program history
  • Earned SEC Setter of the Week after fueling the offense with 120 assists over three wins at the Carolina Classic. The team hit .284 for the weekend and she had a double-double in two of the three matches
  • Won Setter of the Week again two weeks later, after averaging 49.5 assists, 10 digs and 4.5 aces over matches at Ole Miss and Mississippi State
  • Became only the second Gamecock ever to win three conference honors in one season after earning Freshman of the Week on Oct. 19. It came after averaging 13.80 assists and 2.62 digs per set at Georgia and Tennessee. Passed out 62 assists at Tennessee, the most in a single match since 2007

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB

  • Lettered four years for Granbury High School
  • Named a 2014-15 Honorable Mention Under Armour High School All-American
  • Helped lead Granbury to Bi-Regional Championships in 2011 and 2012 and a UIL state semifinal appearance in 2013

  • Aubrey Cheyenne Ezell is the daughter of Chad and Kelly Ezell
  • Has two brothers, Cooper and Chance, and two sisters, Morgan and Sidney
  • Chose South Carolina because of the beauty of campus, supportive fan base and strong academic and athletic programs
  • Plans to major in nursing
