Lance Grantham

Lance Grantham currently serves as Sr. Associate A.D. for Tickets and Parking. With more than 25 years of proven success in sales, operations, and management within the sports and entertainment industry, he currently oversees all Ticketing and Parking Operations and service for Carolina Athletics, supporting eight sports: Football, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Men’s and Women’s Soccer, and Volleyball.

Grantham joined the Gamecocks in March 2008 as Director of Ticket Operations. Since then, he has played an integral role in advancing ticketing strategy, enhancing customer service, and leading initiatives designed to increase revenue and improve the fan experience. As part of the Athletics Revenue Committee, he has implemented policies, procedures, and inventory management through analysis, innovation, and disciplined execution.

He also serves as sport administrator for the Swimming and Diving Teams, after serving as secondary for Football, Men’s Basketball, and both Tennis teams in prior seasons.

Prior to South Carolina, Grantham served as Ticket Manager for the Gator Bowl Association in Jacksonville, Florida from 2005 to 2008. In this role, he managed ticket inventory, customer service operations, and financial and box office functions for events such as the Toyota Gator Bowl, the ACC Football Championship, and the River City Showdown.

From 2002 to 2005, Grantham was Ticket Manager for the New England Patriots, New England Revolution, and Gillette Stadium during the venue’s inaugural years. He oversaw a box office staff of 18, managed season and individual ticket sales, and developed a comprehensive customer service program to support season ticket holders transitioning into the new stadium. During his tenure, he was part of two Super Bowl Championship teams.

Earlier in his career, Grantham served as Asst. Guest Services Manager for the Tampa Bay Lightning and St. Pete Times Forum (2001–2002), where he supervised a 300-person event staff across NHL, arena football, and live music events. He also completed an internship with the Augusta Green Jackets Baseball Club while earning his degree in Sport Management from the University of South Carolina in 2001.

A native of Florida, Grantham honorably served in the United States Army from 1992 to 1995.
