COLUMBIA, S.C. – Booker Nunley from the South Carolina track and field team has been named AgSouth Athlete of the Week.

Nunley won the silver medal in the 60-meter hurdles at the NCAA Indoor Championships at 7.58. The time marks a personal best for Nunley and moves him to No. 3 all-time in the South Carolina record books.

The silver medal is his first collegiate medal at the national championships. It also marks the third consecutive year a Gamecock has medaled in the 60-meter hurdles, joining Johnny Dutch (bronze-2009) and Jason Richardson (silver-2008) as recent medalists.
