2008 South Carolina football season tickets have been officially sold out for the eighth consecutive year, the USC Athletics Department announced today. Considering the continued high demand for season tickets, South Carolina Athletics is pleased to announce that they have been able to upgrade seat assignment locations for 927 Gamecock Club members, which is an equivalent to 2,000 seats.
Additionally, the ticket office presented half scholarship donors and above the option of upgrading from partial to full ticket books if they had previously filed such a request.
“We are thrilled to provide improved football seating for so many of our members whose passion and support is at the heart of Gamecock Athletics,” said Patrick McFarland, Gamecock Club Director. “Our goal is to consistently battle for championships, and we can again be sure that this year, when our opponents come to Williams-Brice Stadium, they will be facing a sea of garnet.”
Season tickets will be mailed out on Friday, August 1 with a delivery date by August 9. The Gamecocks kick off the college football season at home versus NC State at 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 28. The game will be televised by ESPN.
