Sept. 29, 2008

The University of South Carolina’s football game at Ole Miss, scheduled for Saturday, October 4, will be offered throughout the Palmetto State on a pay-per-view basis, the Gamecocks’ Athletic Department announced today.

Game time is set for 2 p.m. Eastern time (1 p.m. in Oxford).

The broadcast will feature Mike Morgan as the play-by-play announcer, with Brad Muller providing the color.

Both the Gamecocks and Rebels sport 3-2 records this season. This is the 14th meeting on the gridiron between South Carolina and Ole Miss, but the first time the teams have met since the 2004 season. The Rebels have won the last five games to take an 8-5 lead in the series.

Gamecock fans throughout the state are encouraged to contact their local satellite or cable provider for more information concerning the telecast.
