Lexington, Ky. – Sophomore diver David Ovelson advanced to the men’s one-meter finals of the SEC Diving Championships in Lexington, Ky. Friday afternoon. Ovelson finished the prelims session of six dives with a score of 335.60 to head into the evening’s event in second place behind Auburn’s Steven Segerlin. Segerlin leads the competition with a score of 368.80.

South Carolina’s Corry Christian finished 14th overall with a score of 265.50.

The men’s finals are scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. The women’s three-meter prelims is set for 2:30 p.m.
