CLEMSON, S.C. — South Carolina track and field redshirt freshman Casey Gale ran the ninth-fastest time in school history for the mile at the Tiger Classic in Clemson, S.C., on Saturday. She was third in the event with a time of 5:02.49.
Sophomore Kelsey Bristol also competed in the mile and crossed the finish line in a personal-record 5:14.91 to take 10th-place honors. Senior Reanna Townsend had a notable performance as well with her best time this season in the 60-meter hurdles at 8.90.
