PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif.Gira Schofield and Natasa Vuckovic from the South Carolina women’s tennis team ended their stay in Pacific Palisades, Calif., on Wednesday. The duo lost 9-8(3) in a doubles consolation match to the 23rd-ranked Long Beach State tandem of Hannah Grady and Jessica Weeks in the Riviera/ITA Women’s All-American Tennis Championships.

The next tournament on the Gamecocks’ schedule is the USTA National Tennis Center Women’s Collegiate Invitational over Oct. 7-9 in Flushing Meadows, N.Y. South Carolina will be represented at the event by Grace Blakely, Laura Ganzer, Miranda Gutierrez, Christyn Lucas, Megan McGavock and Ana Marija Zubori.
