2005-06 (JUNIOR): Began the fall ranked 107th in singles … Finished the fall with a 5-4 record in singles and went 3-6 in doubles … Reached the semifinals of the USTA collegiate event she played in New York … Started out slow by losing the first two matches of the fall before going on to win five of her final seven … Her overall record for singles was 11-9 and she was 5-4 in dual matches with most of her playing time coming at four singles … Was 10-12 playing doubles and 7-4 in dual matches … Defeated then-No. 100 Rebecca Rankin of Arizona State at a spring tournament in Las Vegas … Picked up a key victory over Clemson[apos]s Carol Salge at the No. 4 slot by scores of 7-5, 6-3 to help USC defeat the Tigers despite losing the doubles point … Ganzer[apos]s season came to an abrupt end against Georgia on March 10 … She defeated nationally-ranked Carolina Basu 6-0 in the first set and with the match tied 4-4 in the second, Ganzer charged the net for a short ball and severely sprained her ankle in the process … Returned to play doubles with Miranda Gutierrez against LSU and Arkansas on March 24 and 26 … Despite winning both matches at the No. 3 position, Ganzer opted to stay out for the remainder of the season to let her ankle fully heal … Made the SEC Academic Honor Roll for the third season in a row … Was also a member of the Dean[apos]s List for the fall and spring semesters … One of two Gamecocks named an ITA Scholar-Athlete. 2004-05 (SOPHOMORE): Went 18-9 on the season and finished 15-13 in doubles … Won her draw at the Southern Intercollegiate with four victories against opponents from Wofford, College of Charleston, Furman and East Tennessee State … Held a 7-3 singles record after the fall … Won 12 out of 13 matches during one stretch between the fall and spring … Won her singles match in USC[apos]s first six dual matches of the season, four of which came at the No. 2 position … Entered the singles rankings for the first time in her career March 22 at 91st … Defeated ranked foes Elizabeth Exon of Michigan and Sarah Foster from Kentucky during the spring … Played the majority of her matches at the No. 3 slot where she went 5-4 … At the second spot, Ganzer was 4-1 with three of the four wins coming in straight sets … Injuries forced her to miss a month of play in the spring … Teamed with Fallon Koon and Danielle Wiggins for doubles in dual contests … Earned a spot on the SEC Academic Honor Roll … A Dean[apos]s List honoree for the spring semester. 2003-04 (FRESHMAN): Was one of three freshmen in the singles lineup for USC … After going 4-6 in the fall, improved to go 13-9 in the spring for a combined singles mark of 17-15 … Played the majority of the season at No. 3 singles where she went 13-7 … Won seven of her first eight matches in the spring … Defeated the first ranked player in her career during that period of time with a 7-6, 6-3 victory over then-No. 78 Maria Brito from Clemson … Nearly beat Kelly Schmandt of Vanderbilt, losing 6-4 in the third set … After the loss, she won five straight matches, four of which came in straight sets … One of her triumphs during the streak was over Harvard[apos]s Eva Wang, and it helped USC beat the then-15th-ranked Crimson 5-2 … Fell in three sets to Shadisha Robinson of Georgia, who was among the nation[apos]s top 15 at the time of the match, in three sets … In doubles, Ganzer went 12-17 overall with a 9-12 slate in duals … Played exclusively at No. 1 doubles with Christyn Lucas and Danielle Wiggins … Made the SEC Academic Honor Roll … Named to the Dean[apos]s List for the fall and spring semesters.
