Carolina Announces Pre-Season Practice Schedule

Head Coach Steve Spurrier has set his 2006 pre-season football practice schedule. All University of South Carolina practices will be open to the media and to the public through Saturday, Aug. 19. Media members with cameras will be allowed to shoot the first 15 minutes of each practice.

Most practices will be held on the USC Practice Fields on Bluff Road, across the street from Williams-Brice Stadium. Fans are asked to not bring any video or still cameras. In addition, there will be no player or coach autographs. The schedule is subject to change. Please refer to www.uscsports.com for the latest in practice updates.

Thursday, Aug. 3 Players Report 6 p.m.

Friday, Aug. 4 Media Day 1-3 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 5 Practice #1 7-9 p.m. (Helmets only)

Sunday, Aug. 6 Practice #2 7-9 p.m.

Monday, Aug. 7 Practice #3 7-9 p.m. (Helmets/Shoulder Pads)

Tuesday, Aug. 8 Practice #4 7-9 p.m.

Wednesday, Aug. 9 Practice #5 7-9 p.m. (Full Pads)

Thursday, Aug. 10 Practice #6 9-11:15 a.m. Practice #7 7:30-9:30 p.m.

Friday, Aug. 11 Practice #8 9-11:15 a.m.

Saturday, Aug. 12 Practice #9 4:15-6:00 p.m. (Scrimmage)
