Columbia, SC – Allison Brennan is the SEC female diver of the week for Jan. 29- Feb. 3. Brennan won both the one-meter and three-meter boards in last weekend’s meet against No. 1 Georgia and Alabama. In the one-meter her final score was 295.60, while in the three-meter it was 320.25. Brennan is already an NCAA qualifier. Her personal best scores of the season are 348.75 in the one-meter and 385.50 in the three-meter she received in a home tri-meet against College of Charleston and Gardner-Webb.

Tennessee swimmer Megan Tomes is the SEC female swimmer of the week. Tomes won both individual events she entered, as well as a relay squad in a dual meet against the No. 4 Florida Gators on Jan.28. The Cincinnati native, Ohio, native topped events in the 200-IM, 500-freestyle and 200-freestyle relay. In the IM, Tomes finished in an NCAA provisional qualifying and season-best time of 2:01.04. She also ecliped the “B” cut standard in the 500-freestyle with a season-best readout of 4:53.52.

The SEC Championships will be held Feb. 15-18 in Knowville, Tenn.
