The videoboard in Williams-Brice Stadium has incurred significant damage due to an unusually large power surge. The nature of the damage, coupled with the videoboard’s complex electronics, will require a number of weeks to repair.
In an effort to continue to provide the highest quality game experience possible, the Athletics Department, along with the videoboard manufacturer, Daktronics, has made arrangements for a temporary board to be installed in the stadium for at least this weekend’s Carolina-Troy football game.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, as it is the desire of the Athletics Department to provide the very best in game presentation and fan experience possible.
