Columbia, SC – With spring football practice concluding last Saturday, four USC football players underwent surgery this week to clean up some nagging injuries.

Defensive end George Gause had his left knee scoped to clean up some loose cartilage. Safety Corey Peoples had surgery on his left thumb to repair a torn ligament. Cornerback Jonathan Joseph had surgery to repair a dislocated left shoulder. Running back Cory Boyd had his left knee scoped to repair a torn cartilage.

All of these players will undergo rehab and are expected to be fully recovered in time for preseason workouts.
