Gamecock Football Holds Senior Night Awards Banquet

The University of South Carolina football team held its 2021 Senior Night Awards banquet on Sunday, Dec. 5, at the Jerri and Steve Spurrier Indoor Practice Facility.
 
Here are the award winners as selected by the coaches and players:
 
COACHES’ CHOICE AWARDS
Dr. Harris Pastides Outstanding Student-Athlete Award – Parker White
Community Service Award – Jaylin Dickerson and Spencer Eason-Riddle
Strength & Conditioning Award – Jaylan Foster, Jovaughn Gwyn and Damani Staley
Overcoming Adversity Award – Carlins Platel, R.J. Roderick, Aaron Sterling and ZaQuandre White
Offensive Scout Team Award – Colin Henrich and Patrick Reedy
Defensive Scout Team Award – Sean McGonigal

The Gamecocks (6-6, 3-5 SEC) will wrap up the 2021 season in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl on Thursday, December 30, against the North Carolina Tar Heels (6-6, 3-5, ACC). Game time is set for 11:30 am ET from Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN.
